Who would you recommend copying here if ninjatrader is not good enough, if you meant people trading around rollover. Thanks in advance!
what i meant is, it's critical to trade in the minutes around rollover, so the feature of some brokers to block all trading during this time, is a GOOD thing. not a reason to change the broker.
Ah ic! Sorry for the misunderstanding! Thank you for your clarification! Cheers!

no, it's a scalper. during pre-asian session the prices of several pairs (mostly gbpxxx) usually swing up and down inside a small price-range. scalper try to catch those moves by determining the high and low of those swings and trade the move up and down. only one trade per swing is used, so it's no grid.

I recently switched to ICMarkets and realized that they only allow standard account(no commission) for Autotrade. I was previously using Pepperstone Razor account(with commissions) for the tighter spread.
Would like to know if anyone of you have experience using Autotrade on ICMarkets and how the slippages are for you? Would some signals not be copied due to the slippages? Should I switch back to a commission based account?
Care to comment?

be aware, that a pepperstone razor under autotrade IB is not really a razor anymore. you still pay the razor commission, but have a spread markup of around .8 pip.
regarding icmarkets: don't know.
edit: screenshot of real razor and autotrade razor added.

I'm aware. That markup was meant to pay for myfxbook autotrade service. But should be at least tighter than the standard account spreads with markup right?

should be. at least a little bit. but since i don't have a standard acc with markup, i cannot compare by myself.

This is a very legit question, and i have exactly the same considerations. Which of the 2 brokers to use with AutoTrade.
Hope somebody has experience to share.

I had tried before using icmarket and pepperstone to do copytrade on ninjatrader together. Over a 1 week period of live testing account with both account, the differences I faced is:
1) ICMarket did not miss out any trades on copying but pepperstone do.
2) ICMarket made slightly lesser pips and lose lesser on losing trade as compared to pepperstone do. Not sure why is it this way.
So after hestitating, I decided to follow with ICMarket on copying ninjatrader because that system always open trades during rollover which is ideal to do copy with ICMarket. Maybe pepperstone is better for other autotrade providers due to the lower spread.

Thanks for the comment! Anyhoo, I've decided to switch back to Pepperstone Razor. As tighter spread tends to be my priority in the long term. There're always gives & takes for these brokers. Depending on what aspect you weight heavier.

There is one aspect with ninjatrainer and icmarkets and pepperstone. ICM closes at 23:57 on Friday while Pepperstone closes at 23:55. So two minutes earlier on the weekend. This could be the difference.

Hi I mostly agree with the analysis done by Doomsmoker, but I think there is one point missing which I think is crucial; Pip expectancy of the system. This is because systems with low pip expectancy (say below 3), are not profitable in AT. If you subtract the markup of AT plus some slippage you get a 0 pip expectancy for these systems, which basically tell us that there is no money to be made on the long term.
This criteria further excludes system such as Steady profit, FXBSR and Vine.
The other point I have been noticing is strong correlations between the scalpers (Ninja, Night profitICMarkets and GBP combo), so I would be cautious on following all at once since when a loss comes this can be very large due to this correlation. Moreover all this sytem trade the GBP quite heavily, with GBP combo being 100% dependent on one currency.
Regarding brokers we should share as much data as possible to be able to conclude anything. I have data for IC markets, Axitrader and Intertrader, but there are many more brokers available for AT. Does anyone have data for other brokers different from these?

Has anyone noticed high correlation between some trades of 'NinjaTrainer' and 'NightProfit'?
In the attached picture there are 6 trades during the past 3 weeks that are almost identical. There are also many trades that are completely different, but for these 6 trades my guess is that they are both using the same EA, and because of different price feeds between the traders (IC Markets vs. Alpari) the same EA opens/closes trades at slightly different times.
This is not so good for us who copy their signals because instead of getting risk diversification, we just get more risk.
Can someone possibly provide more information?

That's an interesting observation Yonex! Good spot! are they all just recent similarities? what about in the past?
Ninja Trainer has been the best performing system until very recently, experiencing more than 6 big losses in the last 2 weeks. Has anyone else found this suspicious? Has this happened before? Looking at the balance chart it looked like it had never experienced such a big drawdown in balance in the past. Does it suggest the system is no longer working?
