Hi Everyone! I'd like to have some advise from the community :)

My question is, how long would you test a system on a Demo before you jump to a Real Account? I did some backtests to this system and gave me good results, also been running it on a Demo for around 2 months and it seems to work as I expected.

It is a really simple system based on high RSI values with a fix TP and a manually entered SL, it's going to be my first time running an account with my real money in it, so i want to be sure I won't lose it :D!

Any recomendations?

Thank you!

Hey Alexis

If it's performing as it did the back tests, and as it's avg pips are 15-30 I would go live with it. Of course have your back tests worst DD as a warning and make sure that amount of % in $ isn't damaging to you.
Keep at it

How did you backtest ...manually entered SL?

Actually I did the backtests with a fix and conservative SL, which gave me good results. Now with the Demo account I'm setting SL manually to each trade depending on what I consider better for the market situation :)
