I think Gold prices are going down for the moment. It did rose to a record breaking price this year, but now it seems its going to come down to a reasonable price. Anyhow, my personal thought doesn't really matter because if US-Iran goes back to fighting again, Gold price is going to jump again and  the crude oil and currency is going to rise in prices too. I usually follow reputed news providers for this kind of news, to keep myself updated about the external environments. My top choices of news portals are Reuters, Bloomberg, Fxstreet and Sureshotfx news. They provide enough details and coverage to get the basic idea about what is going on with the global and local market.

Gold usually moves based on inflation, interest rates, dollar strength, and global uncertainty. If rates start falling or geopolitical risk stays high, gold could keep pushing higher. If the dollar strengthens and rates stay elevated, we might see a pullback.

It’s less about the direction and more about the momentum. With gold especially, sentiment and macro news can shift the move very quickly.

Gold is actually becoming more volatile lately, so momentum and timing matter more than direction.

Probably bouncy. It tends to react a lot to macro shifts and sentiment, so clean trends don’t always last long.

Fundamentally, gold still looks supported overall, but not in a straight line. You’ve got ongoing geopolitical tension and central bank buying keeping demand strong . At the same time, interest rates are the key pressure point. If rates stay high, gold can stall or pull back. If cuts come in, it likely pushes higher again. So overall, I’d say bullish bias, but with choppy moves in between.

Messy right now. Short term it’s reacting to everything like CPI, dollar moves, geopolitics, so direction keeps flipping. You’ll see quick spikes up on risk, then pullbacks when rates or the dollar strengthen. Longer term still looks supported, but near term it’s more chop than trend in my view.
