I actually did think I could leave this thing running. But the CHF's caused me hassles. I can leave this running if I try for 20% to 30% a year on a bigger amount, it will work. I.o.w's I divide trade sizes by 10.

But it's not what I want. I want to go to the ATM tonight and draw my $500 for the day after a day on the beach.

And you know what?

I'm starting to think the funds all run fat tail systems. That's why they can only get to 17%-20% per annum. No one's solved this problem except for the HFT guys. And they're counting cards really, just a question of time before they get banned from the game.

i have been on this project for seven years.

seven very long years.

the top acct is my live acct, target profit is 500 to 800.

the lower demo acct is playing the new angle that i found, i think that i like it, it is now sitting at +8812.xx p/l, that is on a single trade position that has taken about one day to run. target profit on this one demo trade is somewhere between 200% and 350%, this will maybe take a few days, i do not yet know for sure.

the demo acct is now up slightly more than 90%.

the live account is now getting ready to push into positive money..

it could back up before it makes it to the target of somewhere in the ballpark of 500 to 800 profit, no worries..

Well, if the fat tail doesn't get you the risk will. The speed of those equity changes is waaaaaaaay to be big to be sustainable.
