i noticed your EA is really good automating harmonic patterns. ive been using this since v2.3 and with this type of confirmations built in the system i can see its impossible to lose. but observing it for the past months i still see trades fail with all the confirmation why do you think its happening? is this bec of the ZUP? and how can we improved this?

The EA trades only as good as the quality of the pattern provided by the zup indicator.
At the donna forum I posted some more information about another zup.
The filters are good but what I also see often happen is that they filter out patterns which would have worked.
I'm still making up my mind about what to implement next because I get a lot of ideas from people and sometimes they are contradictory.
So do you see why this is so confusing sometimes.

there are two things in my mind how to make this bot a holy grail.
1. a reliable pattern indicator
- i dont know how reliable ZUP is, but using this for years already i notice there are some patterns appearing which is not a 'ideal' pattern which dont really need it. well im not a follower in ZUP forum and not a coder so i dont understand how it really works. but this is how i observe ZUP.
2. inlclude only filtering methods that is really powerful and good for harmonics.
- i know there a lots of way to filter patterns in my case i use trendlines , supply demand , candlesticks , etc see more here: https://tradingarsenal.com/confirmation-methods/8-different-confirmation-techniques-harmonic-patterns.html
maybe its confusing because each of us has different ways of filtering the patterns and combining it is contradictory to each of our system. lets adopt K.I.S.S principle my friend.

Hi Walter! Im following your EA and it's really a great piece, looking at results concerning the given risk.
Anyway, I'd like to have a proper look on demo, even your live acc is impressing, but on my broker (mt4, hedging and eas allowed) HT2.8 (with your provided setfile) wont place no orders.
Could you help me out pls?

Just since Saturday. Did a lot of research, just like to try your set and forget system. Drawing gartleys manually is 'exhausting' and very time consuming ;) Install went properly, no errors on loading. Didn't work on strategy tester either. Tried a lot of EAs though (on strategy tester), just to compare systems...

At the time writing, i checked MT4. EA opened 1 Trade on Gold now, comaring to your page on myfxbook, there should have been a couple more :/

There are differences between brokers!
There are even differences between demo and real accounts with the same broker.
1 pip or sometimes 1 point is enough.
You can see that if you compare my demo account and my real account.
They are with the same broker. The real account is a currenex account with commission but very low spread and the demo account is without commission but higher spread.

Like to try it on strategy tester anyway. I'm testing about 20 EA's within the first 6 months of 2013 on different pairs. I like to compare the performances and ?d like to share the results in he near future with other traders. Your system should be in there as well ;)

Before loading up, it reads '2013.06.18 17:14:28 TestGenerator: unmatched data error (volume limit 1200 at 2013.06.12 11:00 exceeded)

Therefore i turned on visual mode and it seems, 1 of the filters is always blocking new trades. Don't know why, but gold wasn't the perfect setup either (not shure but i guess 1 filter wasn't in line), yesterday and today they were the only trades opened by your EA...

That's a very common MT4 error, nothing to worry.
That's why the filters are there :), unfortunately they filter out good trades as well but what is more important is that they filter out bad trades.
Better no trade than a loosing trade!
On H1 it doesn't trade that much, that's why we have it hanging on a lot of pairs.
