Hello everyone,
i have thought about using myfxbook, but to my disappointment, my trading software is not supported yet. Are there any plans to support ActTrader (AvaTrader) on you portal?
Any answer is appreciated. :)

Use the same account and load mt4 on your pc and add your charts there.

Hmm.. thanks for your advice, but it does not seem to work.
1. I tried the mt4 trader from avatrade, but the server there don't let me connect with the login details of my avatrader account.
2. The original mt4 trader does not provide any server to connect to. so i failed there to. Do you know the server adress to connect with mt4?

You have selected the wrong server.... call avatrade and ask for assistance. This is a easy fix for them to help.

I am already trading with the other account and I can't switch to MetaTrader. And I don't want to change really. That's why I asked if it would be possible to make it avaiable for myfxbook to use the AvaTrader too.
If its not possible, thats just fine. Still it would be great if I could use it too, because I like the AvaTrader more than MT4 and the trading platform is more important than myfxbook.

You dont have to trade that account on MT4. just use it for monitering and so that it will update charts online. That way you can observer your trading in graphs and numbers as presented by this web site. It would be like a remote moniter setup. Perhaps easyer to visualize as a trade copier.

Hmm.. thank you very much, I will contact the support of Avatrade to see if that would be possible. Would be a very good solution indeed.

Well, my account manager just told me, that it won't be possible the way you described it.
So my question stays valid, would it be possible to make ActTrader be valid for you serivce?

Multiple platforms have moved off Metatrader. A broker I use moved to as well. So far I have not found a way to trade copy. Adding this platform here would help a lot. Also adding TradeLocker, which one of my other brokers switched to. Both have API and EA support. ACTTrader even has an MT4 to ACTFX converter to help facilitate EA use, but without the source code for the MT4, this isn't very helpful. Adding these platforms here would definately add to the market edge for MyFXBooks.
