I wanted to share information regarding ' How to spot out CENTS accounts.'
It is quite simple and this is actually a copy and paste from another thread that I was uncovering.
Basically if you see an account with deposit and withdraw that do not show xxx.84, xxx.(cents) is it highly possible it is in fact a cents account.
Please take this into consideration when viewing a traders statistics as a larger amount of REAL $$$ has proven to have a psychological effort on a trader compared to a trader with $500 in a cents account and ACTS they are wealthy, a successful trader, and only willing to trade your account if you have 1 million dollars.
If it is a cent account, all deposits and withdraws will have xxxx.00
the x.00 = x(cent) and the remaining .00 can not be withdrawn because it is less than 1 cent.
This is a sure way to tell if a traders account is actually Real or Cents Account. Do not be fooled if the trader says deposits and withdraws are large amounts and cents are never considered.

Hmm... interesting ... thanks for sharing .... anyway I have a number of Oanda subaccounts and I can transfer 100.00 USD between them ... it will appear as deposit / withdrawal if I'm not mistaken... sooo this may not be a 100% super mega sure way ... in case the broker allows subaccounts and you can xfer any amount between account?

In the trading comments, you will see - 'transfer - Account # ' if used between sub accounts.
I don't believe Oanda is linked to MyFxBook any longer. Am I wrong Oanda User?

Not wanting to offend or unnerve ... but then this is a proper cents account, where I deposited 10.00 storm-beaten shabby shoddy American dollars and also withdrew 5.00 dollars but it shows as 1000.00 and 500.00, right?

Point here is not that I don't like your observation, I really do like it, just don't agree it's '100 % sure' way.

No, I don't see it in the comments - it's only DelFunds and AddFunds - made it all public - except the broker 😁
Cents or not? 😁

Well we tried.
Only Cent Users don't display their comments, as the comments will show the deposit information-- Crd Card (19.49USD)
its not perfect.

Speki - Thank you for joining this discussion.
as your mentioned, when using internal transfers, there are no Fees.
But when users use a credit card withdraw or deposit - there is a fee with most transactions. - money bookers, etc.
With this information, we can ask any suspected Cent Users to make a withdraw that has xxx4.45 in Real money and if the withdraw displays 445.00 we, then would know it is a cent account.
I would rather see a Trader be upfront when using a cent account than be a trader who uses a cent account and claims it is REAL .
With a 100x multiplier. A $1000 Real account would look like $100,000. Now that is a huge difference.
Now some strategies are safer on Cent accounts and using cent accounts are not the issue here.
The issue is pretending to others, that it is not a cent account. If we suspect that the account is a CENT account and the trader will not disclose if it is or not, Assuming that it is a cent account is better than listening to the traders excuses of why they can not Display their Comment fields or make a deposit as mentioned above to prove us other wise.
I would rather make an ASS out of U and ME than fall for these tricks. == ASSUME
All of my comments, opinions, assumptions are only to bring LIGHT to the money managers that want to make something out of nothing.
If you are a good trader, and you really want to manage OPM you should not have anything to hide. Be strong and be ready to answer questions. Remember that it is other peoples money on the line.
Please beware that MYFXBOOK is not a site where scamming comes easy.
We have many knowledgeable members that are willing to ask questions.

Don't plan on staying in this discussion, just pointing some things out--
Yes, that's incorrect. Oanda is still linked to MyFxBook. In fact, one of the reasons for the recent update was that Oanda replaces the comment field in all orders, so verifying trading privileges here was previously impossible. I am thankful for the update 😄
Oanda now accepts credit cards but does not charge fees, or at least not on deposits.
I also saw your criticism of Victor and though I haven't been following him for very long I can vouch that he didn't hide bad trades. In fact his last 2 trades were ~$500 each losers.
I never use or even trust fund managers. I sometimes like to think of myself managing a million-dollar fund one day, but don't think I could handle the emotional distress of possibly losing someone else's money, no matter how mechanical my system would be. My aunt lost about $40K with one, and that guy's reputation is now ruined.
Either way I don't exert myself at spotting fakers on this site-- I could care less if someone has 5000% or whatever amount of profit. I didn't join this site to gaga over other people's success. I think MyFxBook is a powerful self-critical tool. I'd like to think that most people have common sense to realize that the accounts that look 'too good' are fake. But all that matters to me is how I am doing.
If you are so gullible that you throw your money at one of the jokers on here then that's your mistake. The idea of me giving money to someone on the Internet in a different country doesn't sit too well, but of course if I wanted a fund manager I would take the tradition route of walking into a brokerage and meeting someone with a real portfolio. But like I said, I wouldn't do that anyway because I can handle my own money pretty well.
