Hello, I m also had large losses in the first week. And the recovery mode seems to play against my account. I checked the Pipjet configuration whith their team support and Daniel Harris, but they recomended to keep the default settings with a risk level of 0.2 and run and look the performance to be evaluated for one or two months. I lost the 40% of my account, and the only winners trades were of 3 to 10 pips. Time server should be checked, although the team support didn t give any recomedation, only wait and see in the long run. I see a hard marketing work, but at the mean while I go ahead studing this EA.

LotSize is way too high (around 10-12). You have it set to 0.00, maybe should change that to 0.5 or 1.0 or something... Test it out on a demo-account first (also 'RiskLevel' is something to play with before putting PipJet on a live account).

Cheers
It's all in the mind (this applies not only to trading).

I bought PipJet 3 weeks ago and am a little confused. I understand it doesn't trade on Mondays and Fridays, but I have only seen 2 trades since I set it up. In fact they were both losing trades, not much but they lost. I then started to read a few negative reviews and decided to take it off my live account with $10,000 and put it on a demo account. Since then, I haven't seen one trade. Any feedback appreciated.

Hi Phil,

I also have the Pipjet for about say three weeks - made only 5 trades so far. 4 Big wins and 1 small loss. I suggest you keep it on minimum risk for a while. Like you said, let it run on Demo first then. I have loaded mine straight to my live account as I trust the Megadroid Team. I am also running Megadroid as well, does not trade often, but if it trades it is a minimum drawdowns and slow groing profits. I allways say 'Rather win small than loose big'.

I also had taken of my 'Million Dollar Pips' that are a 100,000,000,000,000,000............. % money waster !!!!!!!!!! It blows about +-$600 a day of my live account. I am very angry about that 😭

Well, Megadroid Team are the Pioneers of EA's. If they make losses, they recover it. MDP's dont recover any losses - they only make the brokers richer.

Johan.

Hi Johan - thanks for your input and interesting to hear about your experience with both PipJet and Megadroid. What do you term as a big win? I am not looking to make huge money on this account, but I want to see some progress. I have $10,000 on my live account and I have another EA working there, although not particularly great. GregsSuccessSignals - have you heard of it?

Interestingly enough, I am now seeing a trade on USDCAD. Buy at 1.01221 with a SL and TP at 50 pips. The order went in for $100 a pip so the potential loss and of course win is $5000 or 10% up or down in my account. As I write its down $355.

Whats your opinion of the Megadroid EA?

Hi Phil,

My Pipjet also opened a deal on buy 1.01229 - it made a profit of $42.45 on 3.07 Lot size. Well impressive. This EA never made a loss to date.

Megadroid opened also a deal 2 minutes earlier than PipJet but at a huge Lot size 8.45. Made a profit of $109.85. It was nail biting thou 😲

Megadroid for me to date are the best EA's ever. They do not trade so often but they show profits and extremely low drawdowns. I always like small profits - its better than losses 😁

I will have a look tommorow on 'GregsSuccessSignals' - I like live trading so any signal indicator can do for me.

I am looking for 'VpowerIndicator' and 'SuperOscilarator' indicators. Another Robot you can look at are based on Momentum are 'https://www.ifxprofitsrobot.com' - I have bought this EA a while ago - Also no loosing trades to date.

Phil - are you still new in Forex trading ? Because I am as well. I only started live trading in June this year. I have been on Demo's the whole time. Then I deposited $ 24,500 - Well, tell you the truth, Live trading are a complete different ball game for me. I am now 1 million times more scared to go in trades.

Hi Johan,
Iv'e traded for a few years now but been with forex for about a year. If your nervous you should trade very small. So small that it doesn't matter. always know how much you can lose on every trade and be comfortable with it.

Hi Johan - an update from my side. Pipjet eventually closed the trade on me for a $79.03 profit, but then a new sell order went in 15 minutes after the closing of the previous order and gave me a loss of $19.71. In addition, because the positions were held overnight (by definition of my broker), I had to pay a $30 rollover fee. The net result being a $29.32 profit!!!

My lot size by the way was 10, which is quite large.

I wouldn't say I am new to FX trading, but I definitely have a lot to learn about good strategy and psychology of trading. I am using FXCM´s MT4 on a VPS service and as mentioned been running Greg Stefaniaks EA. I started with 5000GBP and its been up to 6300, but I have had some losses from it. In addition, I was running PipJet on my live account but lost 300 so decided to let it run on a demo for a while to see if it actually produces results.

I also have another manual account with FXCM where I have actually been doing OK at the moment. I am mainly trading the major currency pairs and gold. I use a variety of techniques from positional trading using support/resistance levels, RSI and MACD. I am also using a 10, 25 and 50 EMA crossover technique on the 60min chart. Lastly, been also trying to use a system by an Irish guy who called his system the 3 ducks. Its all about trading with the trend using the 240 minute chart to identify the trend, then the 60 min to confirm the trend and look for the entry points. I then set pending trades with a 1:2 risk/reward ratio and let them sit for 24 hours.

$24,500 sounds like a lot of cash for someone just starting out. Sure, if you have a lot of money then it may not be that much. I have $10,000 on each of my accounts right now. Are you only doing EA trading?

Phil
