I'm new to trading, and trying to make sense of the stats in myfxbook. Does anyone know if there is in-depth information available on how these stats are calculated?
In my case, I first made deposits. Then I received 24% in credits on the deposits as some sort of bonus. I understand credits are not part of your balance, so you can invest with it, profits with them are for keeps, if you make losses, you pay for it with your 'real money'. It's a bit like investing with borrowed money... The total real money plus credits is called equity I believe.
Then, because I am in an 'active trader program', I get some interest payouts every 4 weeks. This is real cash, not credits, I think.
Now I'd like to know, for example:
How is 'balance' calculated?
How is profit calculated? Does it include the payouts of the interest from the active trader program?
How is interest calculated? Does this include the 'swap'? And does this include the payouts of the interest from the active trader program?
Absolute Gain seems to be calculated as profit / deposits. How is the Gain calculated?
How is equity calculated?

I hope someone can point me to some more in depth information, or answer some of the questions.
