Mozambique Standard Bank PMI
Using responses to questionnaires sent to purchasing managers in a panel of approximately 400 private sector companies, IHS Markit compiles the Standard Bank Mozambique PMI's survey. Divided into groups the panel is based on contributions to GDP and is stratified by detailed sector and company size. Agriculture, mining, manufacturing, construction, wholesale, retail, and services are some of the industries that were covered by the survey. Each month, survey responses indicate the direction of change in comparison to the previous month. Each survey variable is assigned a diffusion index.
