You only need to install the MT4 platform https://www.gdmfx.com/en/trading/mt4-desktop (direct link http://www.gdmfx.com/sites/default/files/gdmfx4setup_20160410.exe) and log in on the GDMFX-Demo server. If it says "no connection" then most probably a firewall/antivirus is blocking the connection.

The credentials should be on your email and also visible on http://www.myfxbook.com/contests/forex-contest-gdmfx/38/rules. Please ake sure you are using the GDMFX MT4 (downloadable from the Trading section on www.gdmfx.com) with the GDMFX-Demo server. If it still fails to connect, please reply with the error message from the bottom-right corner of MT4.

Hello. No such checking is done at the time you register for the contest. However if you ar among the winners, you will be required to open a Live account (where your prize will be transferred to) with GDMFX with the very same details you used for the Demo contest.

We have reported the issue with the balances to myfxbook already and expect them to load the 10 000 USD starting capital shortly. We have been informed that they are loading the balances and when all accounts are loaded, then they will be enabled for trading. This is to make sure all Demo contestants start on equal ground.

Hello. The Margin call is at 100% and the Stopout is at 50%. We have already contacted Myfxbook about the issue with the balances, and they should load each participating account with 10 000 USD shortly.
