For those asking repeatedly about if their country is accepted and are too lazy to try to find the information for themselves, I will spoon feed you just this once. 🙄
Go here: https://www.fxcm.com/open-account/?visitor=2A272F5405013BBB-40000100C000106E&mboxSession=1414422160734-446062
Select your country in the first dropdown box. If your country is not eligible it will give you a message. If you aren't eligible to have a live account, then there is no point in entering the contest, cuz you can't win the prize, which is a live account. 😝 If no message comes up and all the dropdown boxes are still there, then you should be good.
Of course if there are exceptions to this the FXCM guys can correct me.

Oops forgot to include the question from the FXCM FAQ's that guided me to the link above:
'Does FXCM LLC accept accounts from my country?
To confirm if you can open an account from your country, please click here to access our Trading Application.
In the first drop down menu, select your country. If your country is included on that list, we are able to open an account for you.'

Hi Abolila,
Welcome to the forum! 😄
You can see FXCM's live retail pricing here and will find that it compares favorably to the retail pricing of other brokers including the one you mentioned: https://www.myfxbook.com/forex-broker-spreads
High volume traders with FXCM can qualify for even lower commissions through our Private Client Group. For more information on this, you can email [email protected] or call +1 646 432 2970.

My question isn't about the contest but I want to know why FXCM doesn't accept electronic payments such as skrill, neteller etc.....
FXCM is a great broker especially with the new tight spreads, so if you provide different deposit and withdrawal methods it'd be great :)
Good luck for your company and good luck to all participants in this contest :)
FXCM is always looking for ways to ways to make the deposit and withdrawal process easier and faster for our clients worldwide. We have to balance this goal with our obligation to our clients and our regulators to make sure that the transfer methods we offer meet regulatory standards for financial security. We already support many electronic bank transfer methods including ACH, EFT, SEPA and BACS.
If you would like specific instructions on how best to transfer money to any from your country of residence, please send me a private message with the email address we have on file for your account, the amount of money you wish to transfer and your country or residence. Our Operations department will be able to advise you further.

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the info. I have a live FXCM UK account. Will all existing accounts automatically be transitioned to the new spread + commission costs? Do you know when it will happen?
Thanks!
Hi RKSA,
FXCM's new pricing has already been rolled out to our clients living in the US, UK and Australia. The transition is being done region by region 1) to ensure we follow regulatory requirements for due notice to traders which vary by regulator and 2) to ensure an orderly transition within our own system so as not to negatively impact our traders.
You mentioned that your account is with FXCM UK, but if you live outside of the UK itself, then your account may still be on our old pricing. While I do not have information on transition dates for our clients in other countries at this time, you will receive email notification should a date be scheduled for you.
