I guess you will demonstrate it with a less than one month old live account... Correct?

The track record you are looking for is amply possible. Think about this, how many people loose money in the fx market everyday day trading. Now that's a whole lot of money which is going in the hands of a few obviously. My economics teacher taught me something which i have never forgotten. MONEY HATES NOISE!!! get that. So the kind of trader you are looking for is busy doing two things ;
1. Finding new ways to profit from the market or making their strategy better or
2. Sitting at the beach or somewhere resting from their profits and it's indeed a hard earned rest.
The fact people don't understand is that succeeding in fx is no different from succeeding in any other field of life, its tough and above all must be earned. Good luck searching for the Holy grail instead of digging the holy grail. If there is a holy grail it will most certainly be found underground and not over the ground where everybody can see.
Success is hardly sought after and paid a High!!! price to be acquired. YOU WILL NEVER GET SOMETHING FOR NOTHING.
I will not tell you that I am successful trading, But i can't also say I m not. Because saying that i am you will demand for track record which will only be provided after my death. If I say I'm not, you'll discard my post. But I'll Tell you this cause this might be my first and last post; The price of success is very, very, High. Pay it and it is yours...

You are absolutely right with your insightful post. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Although I would not be happy with 5% average monthly profit with -25% max. DD, nevertheless, these metrics would be borderline acceptable for me.
The reason I have started this thread - exactly 4 years ago in February of 2013 - was to see whether this huge 'think tank' - called MyFxBook - would be able to trigger at least ONE trader to show a stable solid non-Martingale strategy performance without a crippling drawdown.
I have started this thread mainly from ''academic interest'', but so far this experiment has failed.
One reason it might have failed because - as you have pointed it out correctly - 'money hates noise' and whoever had managed to make 5% per month consistent profits (with acceptable DD) will not post it in my thread. The other explanation is that such non-Martingale strategy simply does not exist...

It exists. But the question you should ask yourself is not do I have the holy grail strategy? But do I have the mindset of a successful trader. To be a successful day trader you need an Iron-made mentality which doesn't come naturally to men. It is only developed through pain. The best traders are those that have gone through an unbelievable amount of pain in the process. It was so painful that it cut the trees of indiscipline, Impatience, lack of objective analysis, and last thing complete detachment from their performance. The successful trader is more interested in following and improving his plan than results.
So it takes a killer-instinct mindset to believe that your plan will produce results in the long run. He is more like a chess player, Playing the game one move at a time but envisioning the capturing of the king in his mind( 10-20 moves ahead). On the contrary the average chess player can simply not look more than 1-3 steps forward.
Coming back to trading, the major problem I can tell you is that the average trader does not even understand the game. The game is lost even before it starts. Like a chess grand master to the successful trader the game is won first in his mind before he plays. The amateur plays first and then seeks victory.

Again, I can only agree that the correct mindset is as important as the strategy itself, or even more so.
I know for sure that I do not have the necessary ''killer-instinct mindset'' which is why I trade only by EAs, of course, understanding their limitations which limitations are still smaller than my own.

Let me say a few word:
For this Fxpro account, as I have been trading on different method on-and-off since 2015.11.18, the full history doesn’t apply to my current method.
I didn't trade at all for few months after Oct 2016.
You should use the Custom Period from 2017.03.02 – now.
Let me explain why 2017.03.02 to so you see I am not “window dressing” the performance.
The trade on AUDZND on 02.28 and 03.01 is not the model (which clearly you can’t verify, to be fair). But also the Loss side is way out of my current norm. Currently, smallest lost in a list is about $25 or $30.
Anyway, if you include all those trade, it will make March break-even month with bigger DD.
Any comment are very much welcome.
