Guys after the new EURCHF data I realized that forex handling include a negative risk outside the total lost of capital.
Although I never handled the CHF I normally go for 1 Mio or higher positions in the EURUSD.
Now I realize that a drama in the EURUSD ( what could drive it ? I don't know but everything is possible in life ) could create easily damages of 200k for a 1 Mio Euro position. Stop loss order cant protect us as it was proven in the EURCHF case. So I am looking for a broker willing to quarranty maximum losses equal to our investment capital.
Do you know anyone ? How are your handling the new problem ? Are peoples understanding that they invest 10k and they can land with a -50k account over a night ?

What kind of broker could prevent such event? or protect what so ever retail capital when market drops 1000 times faster than a crisis?
The solution is somewhere else.
Think ahead:
- Avoid mainstream... 95% sheeps were long on EURCHF. (They go where newspaper tell them to go) and then 100% of them are wipped out.
- People would be sceptical on such information.
Don't blame broker... they can't do nothing for you. You are (individualy) the only responsible.
As you mention EURUSD, since sepember 2014, I created a strategy that I'm currently testing called 'Trading Against the Crowd'. Since then, 13 orders have been opened on that pair... and it only opened Short positions since the last 5 months, while this time I monitored retail traders were mainly long over 65%.
It always sold the lowest market price (when people think it's time for a correction because they decided market can't go futher down)... and it has been profitable as the trend is so bearish.
Current trade @ 1.1133... no worries.

SynergyFX is supposed to be bringing out an account with this protection but won't be for US clients, and leverage is restricted 1:100. Waiting and seeing what comes out.

Here is an equity protecting bot. You can set it to shut down mt4/just the ea when it reaches a certain equity %/drawdown.
I doubt it would have been useful in the CHF fiasco, It looks at your equity/dd every 5 seconds, and that massive drop happened in a second. Maybe someone could edit it to check every second instead?

Thanks for your response.
@aeronthomas
This will be great. I found already one OANDA having such a clause in their agreement.
@RSTrading
This will not help. Even L orders was overrided in the case of EURCHF
@CrazyTrader
Yes you are right. I am shorting EURUSD since summer. I don't step in and out. I just preserve a short position which I slowly close. I don't trade with TA like you or the most. I look on the fundamentals of the economies and the policy behind.
Thanks for your reply. I took a look in your site. great work
