Its no simple task keeping a strategy working profitably month after month. I now understand why a number of strategies fail within six months. Good news is this particular sytem has six different settings which adapts as much as possible to different market conditions. The world market can change into an unknown pattern anyday. I believe the honest truth is there may not be any strategy that can win all trades. Having a good monthly gain to drawdown ratio is the best anyone can get.

Please help me to buy good Robot, and good Forex Broker?[/quote
For a good forex broker I will recommend CoreSpreads. They may not be so popular but am yet to see a broker that offers better spreads and better trading conditions than them especially on indices. Fxpro, XM, Tickmill, FXCM are good too but to me CoreSpreads is better. The challenge with CoreSpreads is you can lose more than initial deposit but if your strategy has well defined stop loss, you will not have a problem. You need to have a plan and know what you are doing.
With regards to a good robot to buy it is very difficult to answer. I personally think most good system coders dont sell their robots. They may give it out for signals or manage accounts. However any robot can be good if we understand the strategy it works by and use it on a suitable trading instrument. For example the system am using rides on trends so I use it on Dax 30, or Nikkei or US30. I will not use on forex because they consolidate more than they trend. If I see a consolidating market uproaching on indices, I manually manage till markets return normal trending pattern.

Raymond, has the robot improved over time? or it is still the same with some change in settings?
Ziya, it is same Robot. But I have had to be switching between six different settings. So far I think there are seven different ways DE30 moves although there may be more am yet to discover. So switching from one setting to the other using a number of constant parameters . It is difficult to code them to work automatically so applying settings manually for now.... BREXIT didnt help much because its aftermath has drastically changed Dax 30 market pattern... only 5% Last month. Am hoping next month will be better..
I have been able to solve the consolidating market problem but am still verifying the algorithm and seeing how long it will last.

Hi, Raymond,
I benefited from your comments on market types and EAs. Thank you.
I see your good performance is based on mixed trading. My life pattern does not allow me to stay in front of the computer for a few minutes a day. Given that, are there EAs that are more or less hands free yet safe? I don't mind less profit just as long as my account doesn't get wiped out. Thanks for advising.

In my opinion leaving a live funded account to a robot is not exactly a good idea. Lucky pound is cool especially loooking at how long it has been on the market, I dont know if it is for sale, I saw a system revolution but dont know if it is real, people display very great systems like MASTER OF AUSSIE, MASTER OF SWISSIE, CASH COW etc, but cant exactly guarantee any of them. The best I can say is to subscribe to autotrade. Myfxbook criteria for allowing an account to be used on autotrade gives some kind of safety. You can be 80% sure you will make substantial profit by the end of the year without blowing your account. I think any system that is sold on the market needs very good monitoring.

After tomorrow I will be done with six months of testing. Very good discoveries in the past months. My target next month will be to make 50% profit. My strategy has well defined stop loss. And I try to break even in difficult markets. If tomorrow does not end in a loss then we have six straight months without a loss. I am halving the lot sizes I use so drawdown does not ever get to its maximum ever again which has been less than 34% in the past six months.

At long last six months testing period is over. I made a gain of 534.67%, won 63% percent of my trades, made 164910.0 pips, had an average monthly gain 35.3 percent and overall drawdown of 33.84%. My best month made 115.87 gain. my worst month almost broke even and made a gain of 0.89%. I have seen system on trending markets twice in this six months period and twice in consolidating markets. It needs manual help when markets are consolidating. But even if I leave it to work automatically it will never crash an account. Worst case scenario is drawdown at 35% with the current risk am using. Halving the risk from 10% to 5% will further reduce drawdown to less than 20%.

Guys adding a few more strategies to my system. Dont know how it will fare....By my algorithm it should improve performance....But time will tell. Sometimes changing a parameter introduces another error into other parameters. However am positive this will make system better than we are seeing in next six months.

Due to my busy schedule am unable to set manual trades always but I have put together a manual that indicates when to do what using this ea. Ea will be best for an individual who will take trading as a profession and has a lot of time. The market has not been the best especially because the market is ranging and not trending. Ea best works on trending market. But it is possible to identify a ranging market then set manual trades accordingly till the market begins to trend. The more the market ranges, the more manual inputs.

Raymond how is your robot doing in current market conditions?
Robot is struggling on its own because direction has not been so clear. However manual inputs makes it breakeven or make a little profit. You can see profit oscillating between 400% and 560%
