Very interesting EA... have only just started to take a look at it and I have not bought it yet.
At first glance it looks like it would be great for broker that offers a good rebate though an IB like Cashback forex.
Anyone have any opinions on using the EA with a large account size? So that one could stay away from the 'cent' accounts. Still 1:500 leverage but a normal account with lot sizes starting at 0.01 of a full lot. What would be the recommended starting capital? 50K? 75K?
Anyway... think I'll purchase it and check it out on demo.
Cheers
We recommend starting with $240 or more if you are running Power with a pico account.
Please email [email protected] if you have any other specific questions.
Regards,
Team Envy

It Reached 13.54 lot for USDJPY and 12.18 lot for EURUSD which means two more trades to reach maximum lot 50 and it happend in the first two weeks. If it happend in the first week it won't make it. Luckly, USDJPY closed before EURUSD in the second week.
To tackle it, Use backup deposit to run it again if you were unlucky and withdraw initial desposit and use it as a backup. Rinse and repeat.

not 30% of DD

It looks like this account might have been very close to a magin call on April 10th with its 28% drawdown. Doesn't Tradfort only allow a 30% drawdown before magin call on cent accounts?
30% of free margin.
not the same thing.
should be 70% of DD...

I already have a TradeFort Flex Cent account. Can I still receive Rebates?
No ROI in a dead account

Be careful! This EA is similar strategy as EA Toms. It is to short time.
Look for the loss:

That's a very naive remark. You should actually look at the comparative drawdowns between the main Forex Envy system and Tom's EA.
The recent Euro free-fall has really shown up the flaws in Tom's EA, while it also serves to enforce how effective Forex Envy is in managing such situations. Largely, this is in Envy's diversification into 9 currencies, and not forgetting the very powerful 'Basket Take Profit' whereby lot sizes are precisely calculated such that no matter how many levels in trades opening, the EA is able to maintain the same low BTP, which helps trades close in profit with a small retrace.
Tom's EA on the other hand, requires a larger and larger retrace (110-150 pips at level 3, close to 200 pips at level 8), which makes their baskets MUCH MUCH harder to close off.
I wrote a 3-part comparison between Tom's EA on my blog. You're welcome to read:

Coming from someone who used to promote Tom's EA, I'm telling you now, Forex Envy is a mathematical masterpiece. Tom's EA is the work of a bunch of buffoons.
To live the life of the Professional Bum.

I for mathematical calculations do not believe in the martingale strategy. Wait a year and see if I am surprised this EA. I think it is just a happy time.

In the mean time keep banking profits as FE suggest -keeping the balance working capital at a reasonable safe level to avoid MC and wait for the crash! It all about probability and some of those FE floating DDs are scary but flying is fun.........
