Could be. I had 2 large winning trades offsetting like 2/3 of losses, two big grouped trades. If some earlier entries (despite I am running 0-1-8) were missed it would easily be in profit.

   Hi Kirbi,

I'm using the standard settings and doing really with GMFX, A friend of mine has changed the group orders to know so that it does less trades. We compared accounts after this week and he out performed my account. Apart from that there isnt much else to it....

How could that explain the difference, they BOTH use IBFX as you see in RiffRaff´s account and in Loo´s screenshot.

Hey guys, new here.

It seems RiffRaff was the only one with positive results today.

Loo apparently uses IBFX Australia. Could that explain the difference to RiffRaff?

Cheers

There is a 99% chance that it is due to not catching all the trades. Luck of the draw. This would be one of those times were not having the fastest account plays in your favor.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

Is there anyone knows about the 'additional channels' setting? It write's that it will safely increase the trading frequency. Is it really 'safely' increase? Because in these kind of situations there's too many orders open and close very quick and the loss could be very high. When it's winning i see that it's not very important to make it high (8). But when loosing : the loss could be very big...

If anyone can make a legitimate comment about that setting, i'll be glad...

No body to make comment about this?

It's more about entering extra trades when spike continues and there are some trades already open. If spike goes on and on it will create more loss, but in most cases it will let you win back some from these first initial trades. If spike reverses fast MDP will not enter much of the extra trades. This is from my experience.

Also it works together with max orders settings. And it might be dangerous as it slows down execution and modification of opened trades and in result when in a bad trade MDP might not be able to adjust SL fast enough which will lead to extended losses.

I personally use channels set to 1 which is default. When I used 4 it was taking too much risky trades and lose even when others won.

Kirib, you should be looking for execution of around 400. The fastest I have ever been able to get is 280ms

If MDP makes 1-2 trades you can see that times or if your max orders set to 1-2, otherwise you will see an average order execution time for the whole queue of orders, with individual time around 300 and all max 8 orders created you will likely to see above 1000 ms.

i checked it on yestarday spike. MDP made a lot of trades(>15) and average exec time was 600-700
