Hi
Great trading record. I understand the basic trading principle you're referring to, but is there some more info on your strategy that you can point me at? How much time per day do you spend trading? What time chart do you use? Why did you choose to focus on EURJPY? Sorry for all the questions, but would be great if your could shed some light! :)
Thanks
Armin

Absolute gain means nothing. I move money in and out and all around my accounts all the time. I have way more than two accounts. Every time you deposit funds the absolute gain percentage goes down but when you withdraw the funds it stays the same. This was one of my first accounts. I had to deposit money somewhere didn't I? Then I dispersed it to the other accounts. Anyway, I don't know why I'm explaining this to you. At the end of the day, I'm in profit and you are yet to get back into profit and I'll be checking on you to see if you can even make an account last a year.
I have already said that if Ranesh feels it is necessary to prove who he is, he will, so stop repeating yourself. You sound like a broken record.

I translate: you made 6 % on the money you deposit, so you can find the same rate in a bank!

I mean who cares what you think. Seriously. It's a game for me. Saves me going to Vegas to lose all my money down the slot machine. You are just so pissed that you are not in profit that you have to go around blindly accusing people of things that are not true. Once again, just concentrate on getting your own account back into profit and then maybe, just maybe, you might be a nicer and better person for it.

it seems you care, you came to speak to me.
i would advise you before speaking about people, to be yourself 100% transparent, ( no to hide all details about your account).
you will more trustable in your comments.

Yeah, I'm worried that you might be a little hungry. I don't like to see my French counterparts suffer even though they blew up Greenpeace's Rainbow Warrior. I can forgive such nastiness. I have some very nice French friends.

This 'greenpeace argument' is very funny :), you won this post battle with it.
And stop dreaming about 60% annual, everybody can see that your abs. gain is around 6%, (600£ on a 10 000£ account)

(I am making the following post in this thread in response to the comments made by olive10000 on my thread)
In the first few months of being a member here you never revealed that your real intentions (or should I say ulterior motives) here was to find investors. Instead you simply pretended to be just another private trader with no commercial interest whatsoever. Patience was right afterall about why you were posting BS on my thread.
Now lets take a look at your devious ways shall we?

Now lets take a look at how you gamble instead of trading.
If it was your own money this wouldn't have mattered.. but since you are managing other people's money, everyone here should be informed about the way you would gamble with their money instead of trading.
This account started with 2000 Euros. The last time I bothered stopping by here and took a look at your stats was sometime in October... when you were making BS comments about Patience's trading.
In October, this account was still showing NEGATIVE gains and the account was not in profit. In fact, if you take a look at the chart you will see that this account went straight into losses from the very start. A comment made by Patience here on this thread in October substantiates it. He's also had to top up his account with a further 6000Euros thereafter to create additional margin to keep the account afloat. That is 3 times his original capital.
To get back into profit, olive10000 here desperately gambles with over-leveraged trades.
See attached screenshot of losses of over 13% from a single trade from just ~43pips.
<a href='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler_1X.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler_1X.jpg'/></a>
Also see attached screenshot which shows over 52% gains from a single trade from just ~220pips.
<a href='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler2.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler2.jpg'/></a>
He seems to be losing on average an estimated 10% per trade quite often. Just 10 such consecutive losing trades will wipe out the whole account. You will see that having 4 or 5 consecutive losing trades is quite the norm for this guy.
Take a look at the big spike up on 06Jan2011. Now see the screenshot which shows the trades that caused that spike up.
<a href='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler3.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler3.jpg'/></a>
Closing Balance on 05Jan is shown here :
<a href='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler4.jpg' target='_blank'><img src='https://www.myfxbook.com/files/ranesh/olive10000_gambler4.jpg'/></a>
You will see that he has opened 9 lots with only a balance of a mere 6,226Euros. That's a leverage of 144:1. He seems to be trading or should I say gambling on guts and instincts of 'this is going to be a definite winner' so lets pile it up!!
If you pay close attention to the chart you will be able to notice that his gambling with high leverage is a recurring pattern. This account itself has come close to being busted. If he continues this way of gambling, it is just a matter of time before he blows up this account like the other 3 accounts he has already blown up.
Now.... you the members of myfxbook make your own judgements based on the facts that have been presented and arrive at your own conclusions on whether olive10000 is a gambler or a trader, keeping in mind his deceit and that he is hustling for naive investors, whose hard earned money it is that will end up getting busted.
I rest my case.
