Hi everyone. My name is Tom.
Just wanted to share with you all one of the strategies in one of my live accounts. It's an EA I coded myself. Self Taught! Took me weeks, but I made it out alive!
Would love to hear comments and questions.
Let's look forward to a nice and non-choppy Fed Rate meeting on Thursday!

I wasn't really planning to sell my EA. I'm still new to this forum and I will answer your questions personally (once i know how to learn how to message on this myfxbook!)
But if you are interested in the EA, I can explain more to you personally and we can come up with a reasonable price. I do feel good helping other traders make profits

Not sure if this is working or is it too late to post but, here it goes anyway!
https://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/another-ea-x9b/86040
https://www.myfxbook.com/strategies/another-one-my-eas/86001
These are 2 of the back-tests I did for 2 of my EAs that are very very SHORT term. I hate using the word SCALP but I suppose that is what it is. These are tested using a broker that has good thin spreads. I think they look pretty good?
Comments and/or questions please!
Thanks!

My apologies in advance: As much as I don't want this forum to be inundated with these links, I really and honestly wanted to officially release the rest of the other EAs i had been finalizing on the for past few weeks.
These EAs are pretty old (coded last year), but I think this year the market has been VERY good to these EAs. The high volatility really made these EAs 'POP' and made it perform to its PEAK efficiency.
The profits aren't too huge to brag about (still good in my opinion), but the great part is that the DD% is relatively low. I believe the Risk Reward Ratio is pretty impressive, if I may risk-fully give myself credit!
My main focus and GOAL for these EAs was to make CONSISTENT profit. Consistency is the key to success (as my Grand-father told me all the time during my youth). That man served in WW2 btw - rest in peace Grand-dad.

Hi Tom,
Impressive initial results. However your sharpe ratio is only 0.19 which tells me (and i'm guessing because you have a lot of your data hidden) that your stop loss is quite large compared to your take profit. If your committed to making a robust system you want your sharpe ratio be be above 0.6. If its not then you when have a drawdown (and you will) it will REALLY hurt. Realistically, your TP to SL ratio should be 1:1 or better. If your system works on this basis then you might be onto something. Food for thought.

Yes I just emailed you!
btw my email address is my signature I believe.
[email protected]
And to answer your question, yes, I only use 10:1 leverage. I really don't believe 100:1 is necessary, that is a recipe for a disaster. Coming from the world of finance in the past 2 decades, 10:1 is enough as the banks use that, so I am used to that leverage. You may use 20:1 leverage if you wish.
The reason why 10:1 is enough for me is because my account's capital is quite a lot, enough to make decent profits with such a small leverage amount.

Hi braddock. It is possible!
Also, keep in mind that BEFORE Forex was this widespread and before the Forex broker revolution, traders and banks were trading only 1:1 NO Leverage. So 10:1 is a lot of leverage! I really don't recommend anything over 20:1. 50:1 is even pushing it too hard.
Just my honest opinion.
