broker must appreciate manual participant.
The broker should come up with a Live contest and NOT with this Demo nonsense to be appreciated.
😇
Who would want to risk his money in a live contest to win the prize? Demo contest on the hand pose no financial risk to the participants to slog it out against each other to win a prize for themselves. Ridiculous you say? Not at all. When you lose your live account trying to win the prize; now that's ridiculous.

It seems you did not follow the comments in this tread.
There was NOT even ONE complaint how disciplinned one must be to have a chance.
Instead MANY complained how unfair all of this is and how impossible to win any price with a real way of trading.
That's because this is DEMO !
Make it a Live Contest and all those complains will disappear.
Why NOT risking real money ?!
Are you not a real trader ? Only a Demo trader all your life ? 😇

The objective of demo contests is solely to win the prize by whichever way its allowed including reckless trading without any sensible money management for the duration of the contests. Those complaints were from sore losers whom do not possess the skills to measure up to the challenge of these demo contests. Everyone is given the same starting capital and set of rules so there's nothing unfair about it. You don't see people up in the charts complaining because they know exactly what to do in a demo contest and they're focused on doing that.
There were live contests held previously but the response were egregious. Where were those who complained? Where were you? Did you participate? Do you think 800% gain in one month is the real way of trading suggested by you? Yet no one could even show a 10% gain a month consistently on a live account with a draw down of less than 20% over a period of 2 years. So what's the point in doing 800% a month to win the live contest if the result does not reflect the truth of actual live trading? Simple, it's to win the prize and he had to risk his account. If it didn't work there would be no more account for him. If you're talking about real trading with sound money management of 20% a month, that would never win a contest. If one do not have the intent of going out of the ordinary by taking greater risk to win the prize then why even bother to participate? What do one aim to get out of it?
Risking money genuinely to win the contest and risking money trading at your own pace with proper money management are very different. If you do know the difference, I really feel sorry for you. Enough said.

Real trade is far away demo, however it is good to promote traders.
No, Demo is NOT good for any promotion !
Show some great results on your Demo to a Hedge Fund and nobody will be interested.
To promote yourself you need results on a real account. ONLY
The bigger the account the better.
🙄 😐
This Demo nonsense is useless !

No need for you to feel sorry for me. I agree with you this time.
Anyway it's not on us to decide if this is Live or a Demo contest.
This is solely a decision of the broker.
Traders can agree or disagree, and stay away.
For me it would be much preferable to PARTICIPATE in a Live contest.
Then it's a really competitive situation.
I don't want to develop skills for a contest only. Why should a trader who is not crazy do that ?! There is no benefit. Only negative habits to develop...... Bad idea.
For me it's about competing in a realistic situation and NOT about winning.
A trader 'wins' more by developing the right skills.
Demo is almost useless for it. At least this is my experience.

What 'really competitive and realistic situation' are you referring to? You trading at your own comfortable pace of 10% gain with no intent of winning the contest? Whilst others going for the prize by risking their account to make gains of 500%? Apparently you don't realise that you are not even competing with the others for the prize so how could it be a 'really competitive situation' for you? For the others yes. But for you, you are only making up the numbers without any will to compete. And how can making 500% gain in one month be a 'realistic situation' of live trading? Be it live contest or demo contest, the sole objective is to win the prize. Beyond that there's no merit to the contestants. So it pointless for you to say it's nonsense. Everybody knows that and as they compete the focus is to win the prize. The contestants who won the prizes.. the nonsense evaporates.

It seems in your mind trading on a live account is not a realistic situation ? Your reasoning and objections don't make sense to me.
And who cares if some traders win a contest ?!
Is there even ONE winner of a price who was able to multipy that money in live trading ?
Until now I have NOT heard of one. Did you ?
Have you heard this ? :
There are old traders and there are bold traders. But there are no old bold traders.

Obviously you don't even understand what I had elucidated. I said live contest is not realistic, not trading on a live account. Best that read properly before replying. Does 500% a month sound realistic? That's what people did in live contests.
Of course you have never heard. You expect them to report to you and the public how much they had make from their winnings? Come on, be realistic for once. People don't wake up everyday to please you.
