Just to let you know, before anyone else buy this...

They DO NOT have a 60 refund policy.

I was informed I only had 14 days... its not what he advertise in his page, or the whole clickbetter deal!!!

I feel I was really tricked here!

Email the vendor. He will send you a paypal link to purchase from there and 60 day refund policy does exist.

Just curious... Does anyone use this EA on Oanda? I've looked into the recommended broker for U.S. (FXChoice) but, personally, I'm not too thrilled with the notion of handing my money over to an unregulated broker out of Belize... So, any word on how it performs on Oanda?

Thanks.

Just look at the spreads - performance cannot deviate that much because its not a scalper. I also didn't like the notion of an unregulated broker. IC Markets is regulated. Why not open an account with them? A few members recommend them. I'm using FXPro which is regulated. Seems ok with them.

Neither of those brokers accept U.S. clients.

That's right, if you want great ECN spreads with hi leverage and ability to hedge and from USA I like TradersWay the best...all IMO. Thanks for heads up about Greece. I now shut my EA's off until after that event, was not aware about that. I love this site!

It's all good. The EA didn't end up trading anyways. I just reduced the lot sizes to 0.01 just to see what happens, but it didn't trade.

You have to load the set file for each pairs, the the stop loss will be set as up-to-date update from vendor.

It would be nice if the vendor (or yourself) could share the set files here... I don't have any! 😉

I've turned on the EA as well. Let's keep monitor for any vary of trades among differences of broker's. 😄

You guys are really playing with fire.........what do you think could happen nexty week if Greece does elect the left wing party leader as President who wants to write off half of the counries international debt and even leave the euro?!?! What will happen if they don't elect him? Market could already have priced in today the possibility of him being elected which I think is why we see a large move today. Noone knows! There WILL be a large swing on opening on Sunday/Monday! Absolutely no doubt about it.

I hope your all on the right side of that swing!

I'm playing with demo, so no nasty repercussions here! 😎

Besides:
a) it is interesting to see how each EA performs in different market conditions - an uninterrupted test is more thorough and useful than a selective one;
b) you SHOULD NOT expect to see a similar move to the EURCHF again any time soon (at least until EUR or USD collapses or USDCHN unpegs). Some folks who had been in the markets 30+ years had never seen such a move! 😲

Dear Trader,

After the decision of the Swiss National Bank last Thursday, another important week just started for the financial markets.

The macroeconomic calendar of the week is quite full, with two important events which will dominate the scene.

The ECB will celebrate its monthly meeting announcing its interest rates and its monetary policy news on Thursday 22nd. The announcement of a quantitative easing is very likely according to a majority of analysts. That decision could strongly impact the currency’s and stock markets.
On Sunday 25th, only three days later, Greece will elect its new parliament.
Those two events are expected to create huge volatility on the EUR.

With the usual aim of protecting our clients, ActivTrades is increasing the margin required by 4 times in all EUR pairs as of Tuesday 20th January 19:00 CET.

If you have any questions, please contact our support team.

Kind regards,

Your ActivTrades Team

Meh... I'm still keeping my Demo active - let's see just how BIG this move is gonna be! 😉

But for a Real account: is it worth losing your entire balance? Think about that... 😲

Six weeks of live trades pretty well match the RTP myfxbook account entries and exits. I've paid for the EA 3 times over on a relatively small account.
Nice work Doug!!

mwells, what do you have set for the 2nd and 3rd trades...if you do not mind sharing?

One question , did you really buy this EA from official channel or free copy?
If you bought from official channel, you should have the set files and instructions.
If you didn't buy, please don't request the optimized set files for the clients. It is unfair to the EA vendor.

craneliu, I was asking because sounded like mwells customized his 2nd & 3rd trade settings from the vendors recommended and I wanted to know. Apparently you did not understand that, yes...I have bought my copy from official channel (that sounds funny btw) and I do not buy or obtain pirated software. That is just plain wrong and stealing. Do you have a pirated copy?

Thanks for letting us know mwells, sounded like you tweaked that and doing well. I was interested when saw your post because of a couple of the pairs was thinking of tweaking myself. A couple of them seem a little too close on 2nd order but Doug knows better than me so just sticking to his settings.

I have no basis for changing Doug's settings. Doug has clearly optimised and it is working well. Just making the observation that with the recommended settings on ICMarkets ECN I am seeing pretty much the same entries and exits as Doug.

If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.
