There's a good chance EURUSD will go down this week and even by tomorrow ... I hope your system survives. If not then we can all learn from it.

san4x,

You must improve your analytical skills and pay real attention to all parameters if you want to survive in this global financial chess and remain profitable...

First of all I said on comparable time-frames, Simple system is showing longer performance so we need to compare
real monthly performance (some accounts have no trading deposit for some time which needs to be taken into account).
Now a second VERY important parameter is the total pips produced in order to achieve the performance along with hit rate, R:R.
EG. Some systems show a performance of 100% or more with around 1000 pips.
This is not good at all.

Now this system had produced a good number of pips for its gain, thus I gave my congrats on that alone.
It is comparable in performance (monthly and pips wise) with our system SUPER_XM, a new merge of 3 successful systems that had been forward tested for a year. OUR SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY IN (TOP 5) NO 4 at signal rental service.

Congratulations on your system, one of the best looking so far externally.

I think that at least one of our systems and live accounts can come close or even beat you in the comparable time frame :-)
Especially if there is a decision to use some compounding...

But it is nice to see great developments. Good job you did!

Useless statement.

Especially since none of the systems you show come even close to Tymek's performance.

Even if the system survives, with Open Draw Down at 75 % is not good as it is. Highest risk settings should have been at 1/2 lot size or double the money in account so performance would be at 90% after several months and not as it shows...

ALL YOU OUT THERE, PAY ATTENTION TO EQUITY LINE (Yellow) and not the nice balance. Long term profitable and safe systems usually don't have straight curve live but a balanced upside channel with ups and downs as in fx pair trading..

Please go advertise elsewhere and don't hijack someone's page.

(And: yes, I still see no comparison...and yes, I do understand DD and can read charts).

Many thanks to Mods of this website, I don't want here any advertisement. If something not corresponding
to my EA I will try to report it.

Back to my EA. I never said how my EA using money on this account. Most of persons when they have
results from MT4 (during testing) taking this DD what is shown there as true. But this number is only
DD without Margin using to manage this position or positions. Let's I explain this on example:
If some EA will have in MT4 DD = 15% and your account was like 100K it not means that if
you will put on account 15k EA will survive. Because there is no place for Margin.
And some persons probably don't know about this ;)
In my case I am using 100% of my account for my EA, because for me it is means 100% risk.
This includes Margin and Max DD. It is possible to see Equity near 0. This was on purpose.
I don't like when money stays on account and do nothing ;)
All robots have some period for good performance and after this period they crush. Nobody can predict future and
I know this that manually support will be needed for this robot. When ? I don't know.
Maybe on Monday or in next month or next year ? Who knows.

This robot is example. And I will tell this again: I am not looking for clients and I am not trying
to sell this EA to anybody. This only example what is possible and how.
If I would like to present this for clients I will go down with risk to maximum 25%.
If I will put risk at 25% result will be 4 times less and the lowest Equity will be around 75%.
This is very simply. And EA is 'Simply' ;)

After all I can say that everybody can learn from this.
1. Never put EA on 100% risk 😄, because human can't hold pressure during Equity near 0
2. Never interrupt EA with manual orders !
3. Do not try to 'help' EA with your own thinking 😄

This all I know from long time but always I broke some of those rules.
Now is time to be strict to those points. 😄

Hi Tymek,

first of all - I hope that you've not lost too much on this real account.
Since the system has failed - could you share with us more details about the system, what was the MM which had lifted the profit so nicely up to the sky and pushed it back to the ground within so short period of time ?

@ #1 - I know the stress and pressure of playing on the edge of common sense.... I made it a couple of times and twice I ... hit the MC...

@ #2 & 3 - that was also my lesson learnt hard way from my second crash...

Looking forward to see your new edition with 'strict sticking to the rules'...

greetings,

Mark

In Tymek's point of view the system didn't fail ... he tries to convince us that he didn't have the full trading capital in the account and like many others the system can show as failed but he says it didn't fail because he only put 1/10th or so of his account...

anyways another thing is that if you really don't want any investors etc then just keep your account private and noone will be able to find it ... obviously you do want to have some traffic of people noticing the account ...

I also believe that for the regular investor it counts not to have such blowups ... anyone could take the 1%/month system and make it 100%/month - more risky just to show 2 months of 100% gains and then the 3rd month it fails ... then you explain that your system is really 1%/month and you just tried to max it out ... and everything is still peachy ....

Real value of this post. Remember that people looking to the world by their own problems.

I was honest, I didn't say that my EA not failed. I only explained where was problem.
Look for Demo profile. There is same strategy without my touch during trading.
There is risk more than 100% and survive. Because account have leverage 1:100 this
account have worse profit.

When real money are on table, only crazy people stay and watching when money going to zero.
This was natural reaction. Who can say in 100% that market will come back ?

no... that was human ingeration to automatic system. You should have considered such situation WHEN you were designing and testing the system... and never mess with it manually.

Let's face it - your freaked out and manually killed the still breathing system...

Tymek - as one of our mutual friend keeps citing The Matrix:

guys I also have this analogy based on my own experience ... when your equity curve is a straight line you will have to take a loss one day and it'll be a big one ... so either take small losses and keep the equity growing nontheless or get ready for 50%+ hit one day Mr Market will get angry with you linearly adding profit

another analogy I like ... with a line equity curve it's like shoplifting - stealing a little bit and then one they you screw up and they put you in jail for 5 years lol

instead better steal a little bit here and there and when you see the guards coming run the hell out of the crime scene so you can live free and steal again lol
