Thor only trades on high volume events. It is normal to see no trades for a long time, I seen it go a few weeks without trades. Then sometimes it could trade five times in one week. It requires a big movement in price (around 25 pips or more) within a one or two minute period to trigger Thor. If you review all the myfxbook logs you will see that it has gone as long as six weeks without trades.

The trade activity depends from the market conditions. Thor is designed to make constant profits. Believe me, it does not help anything try to make as much profit as possible (even when the conditions are not perfect), because if you do so you can be sure that the day will come where you will blow up the account.

Alexander,

can you tell me the execution time for the today session? i continue to have serious problem with execution time... over 1500ms...

BEEKSFX and CNS have the same execution time... don't understand if my account is broken or i need for a totally different vps...

next week i try to use another server provider, just to see if the cause are the vps (both vps used overcrowded??)

bye

The execution times do seem out of the norm.
My last execution times on the VPS service were:

It would be interesting to know what others are getting.

Hello Pen,
when you hover your mouse over the little ballon on the right side, trade comments will be displayed. You can than see which core was placing the trade.

C2 ..>Core 2
C3 ..>Core 3

Regards,
Alexander

I can't find the balloons any more.
Is there a way to see the trade comments and confirm which core made the trades?

Would be better that you ran a managed account rather than everyone having difficulties trouble configuring Thor. Since we would all get the same results.

Can you please clarify what you mean by a managed account?

A managed account is where funds are deposited by clients to your account and a POA limits you to just trade the funds and not withdraw them. Most brokers offer a managed account service. Anyway i'm sceptical of your results being displayed in your history see this trade

09.13.2012 16:31 09.13.2012 16:32 EURUSD Sell 1.29240 1.29090 1.29255 1.29245 1.0 7s 0.16%

has an open price of 1.29255
Close price of 1.29245

Is recorded as 1 pip Gain

But spread is usually 2 = 4 pips on this pair

Isn't this false reporting, or can you explain ?

Albaani,
The spreads are not shown in the history. The open price includes the spread. Since this is a commission account the spread is very low averaging around .7 pips. Thor allows you to limit trading if the spread goes above a certain level that you can manually set in the input section of the EA. I personally set this level to 1.5 pips.
I can personally vouch that these results are valid as I have been using Thor for a while and my results closely match these results.

Hi Alex, just wondering, how many live accounts can I trade when I purchase the EA. I'm gonna wanna get it soon...because if the rumours are anything to go by, then sometime before/after the presidential elections there is bound to be some market volatility and judging from the backtests, it seems thor II does best when market volatility is high. In 2008, when other EAs were crushing, Thor II was thriving :-)

Hello richbugger,
With one license you can run Forex Thor on up to 5 accounts regardless of their type (demo or live).
And as for the market volatility, yes, it is expected to be high.

Alexander
