Hey! I like the tagging feature a lot, but I have one issue with it - let's say I create one tag for a break out strategy called BO, and two tags to differentiate between trades with an optimal entry (OE) and trades with a poor entry (PE). Every time I trade a breakout I apply the BO tag and one of the other two depending on wether I got a good entry or not and I'd like to be able to do custom analysis that displays a dedicated curve for trades having the tags BO and OE applied to them and a separate curve for trades with the BO and PE tags, rather than having 3 curves - 1 for BO, 1 for OE and 1 for PE...

I'm not sure what the best way to implement this would be - perhaps giving the option to select a colour and mark the tags I want grouped with the selected colour to make them show up as a single curve with that colour on the graph - In the custom analysis box I'd select green and mark the BO and OE tags to have a green curve for trades with both those tags and then I could select red and mark the BO and PE tags to have a red curve with those tags...

I see a lot of views and few votes so perhaps I'll clarify a tad more: This feature would allow tagging trades not only with tags representing different strategies, but also tags relating to things like how well a trade was managed, wether the entry was good or bad, what the market conditions were at the time, etc. This would allow analysis of how well a strategy performs under different market conditions, how well it performs with poor entries and so on. Another way in which this could be done is to have a separate tag for every possible combination of strategies, market conditions and trade management, but that is far less convenient...

I know fxbook staff reads all suggestions - could you say something about whether you will implement this or not so I can shut up about it?

It is indeed possible, however the priority of the suggestion is based on the number of votes.

In any case, your suggestion has been added to our to-do list. 😄

Thanks.

Great Idea. You have my vote.

Also,

In the custom analysis, I'm able to display the performance(graph) of my Tagged trades ( thank you for this feature =) separately from the overall performance.

Is there a way to save this custom analysis and have the ability to share this analysis on our systems page within the default graph?

I know we can set up magic # capability to display separate systems on our default systems page - Example here: https://www.myfxbook.com/members/pipinvestmentbot/idraw-semi-automated/116438

But will we be able to do the same with TAGS at some point?

At the moment it's not possible but such capability may be added in the feature.

Thanks.
