This Zen Sclaper EA blew up my demo account today, and this is very typical for a Martingale system like I warned everyone. So I spent $59 bucks to try it and it failed big time, and life goers on without trading it on my live account and throwing it in the recycle bin.
Ooh that's very disappointing. Good thing you demo'd it. Thanks for updating.

Over 40% loss in a day. This is what happens when you combine martingale and grid trading in an EA. Can you stomach this kind of drawdown? I can't.

Zen EA on average makes around 3-5% a day. Apart from it loss is a part of every sustainable EA to continue making profits. Yesterday loss was just a 1 in 365 chance that has already happened.
Always our advise is to check out the monthly performance if you really want to make good profits with any EA at day end.
Zen EA is very flexible as it allows everyone to adjust risk and DD based on their risk appetite.

I have run this EA for a week and my god it made just over 100%
I have taken my initial investment out which was £1335 and am now using it risk free.

So they went for the 'we got hacked and the losing positions were not our fault', which is a pretty good idea. This is the email they sent out:
'I regret to inform you that there had been a major hack attempt on our server. It jammed whole Zen forex system.
As a result, all trading accounts connected with Zen EA went to 90% drawdown and closed there.
Not all our clients but our own and our private client 7 figures account had the same fate.
It’s really hard for me to say but yesterday the hack happened during Tokyo and London session, the trades which EA executed were in profit
and EA should have closed them but that didn’t happen and it bring our attention to that.
We tried accessing the server to check Zen EA settings, unfortunately we were unable to as it was controlled by someone else.
We had to get Cyber security experts to take back the server but by then it was already too late.
I understand that apologizing will not reverse what has happened and it’s a really bad timing when everything should have been great this holiday season.
As a way to recompense you all for this, we are offering direct account recovery program for a period of 2 months. Though it has been for our private Zen clients
whose accounts suffered the fate but we are offering the same for you. This program will help you recover what you lost here.
You can be part of this recovery program and recover what you lost.'
I replied saying that they could have just sent out an email saying 'we got hacked closed down the positions', as it took several hours to hit the max DD. They sent a link for the recovey page and that link doesn't even work.
I actually can't say anything bad about customer service, always have been super polite, but probably they should have invested more time in the EA
I would advise everyone to stay away from recovery. I know it's for free but it's actually your money at risk. It's like losing at poker and going to another casino and trying to win it back.
Happy holidays to all

I knew that EAs that use grid trading and/or martingale don't usually last beyond 2 years but this system blew up in 2 months!!? That is surprising even to me since I've seen a lot of griddy systems.
Please, friends don't let friends grid or martingale trade.

after all this ia a Martingale system which I warned everyone about it eventually blowing up your account. There is no such thing as a so called 'Recovery' after a account blows up, lol.
This is nothing but a piece of junk high risk Martingale EA, where you will not only lose money but your whole account.

seriously they should have just accepted the failure and move on. This is just trying to cover up their failure on name of hacking. Is this EA ran by Daniel Savage who is known for this kind of

That is such a pathetic cop out of an excuse. If this was a signal service then I can see this hack happening as MT4s have to get their trade signals from a centralized source and the centralized source would have to be compromised. But As far as I know, their EA is a standalone program with its own EX4 file and SET file that one can load into their MT4 at the broker of their choice and the EA can execute the trades on its own. For that kind of 'hack' to happen that way, the hackers will have to hack the accounts of ALL the customers and their brokers (which are probably hundreds of accounts) and have to hack the real and demo accounts for this effect to occur (but why would anyone hack a demo account?, there's no financial incentive). These people are blaming their EA with its flawed trading philosophy (martingale and grid trading) so something that is beyond their control instead of blaming themselves.

7K to 28K to $50. Wish author had cashed out at 21K and let remaining 7K run. that way he would have another few go.
anyway this was expected pretty much from the martingale. Author was bit confident but unfortunately market doesn't change its behaviour for anyone.
