Well it is now Oct 1 and after a hell of a roller coaster I am throwing in the towel.In retrospect I will say this for Lion FX, it has a lot of promise and I am sure with some fine tuning it will be a good one.The biggest problem is that it gets to many trades open at once and the stop loss can not be set manually.The EA decides to close trades based only on indicators and that can be dangerous because indicators can "ride the line" for hours before giving a signal to close the trade and that can and will cost money. @4XSA I don't think calling people stupid and lazy will really work for a productive conversation.We are discussing a product we have been using for awhile and for a time it really seemed to work well.If you read the posts you would see that the problem is with the amount of trades open at once and the stop loss system.I have been discussing this with Alex in E-mails and he says he is working on version two and that will have finer controls to offer the user.Since you say that you do not use or follow this product, then I have to ask why you are here commenting and insulting people?

Alex I think I can speak for everyone when I say you need to make some sort of comment here and let people know you have not headed for the hills and run away.What are your thoughts on the trading taking such a hit and whats happening with Lion FX 2 development?Cheers man

I do see a grid pattern to a degree but the grid happens after the indicator says to enter a trade.I got the same, 12 pips apart.However a true grid EA does not rely on indicators to start trades, it is all based on a grid..... period.As far as Alex not posting, I do not think he is doing it on purpose, there must be more to that then we are seeing.Most likely technical difficulties of some sort.The guy has been running his EA for over a year here.I highly doubt he is "on the run" lolWe should all remember that he does not "have" to be here. I think its a little harsh to judge Alex so roughly.Alex is not interested in swindling anyone, I have been talking to him for about a year and I feel confident saying he is no thief.I agree there needs to be better controls for stop losses and Alex acknowledges this and is working on it for Lion FX version 2.I think if we can limit the number of concurrent trades (say 3 trades open at once MAX) as well as set a stop loss, that would solve a lot of problems. I don't believe attacking him or calling him a thief is the way to get the changes we would like to see.Cheers all.

OuchYea and I am out until Weds this week because Octa FX sent out a warning that leverage is changing to 200 from 500 due to elections in France.They also posted in forex peace army about it."We’d like to inform our account holders that our marginal requirements will change on 24 April 2017 due to the presidential election in France. The following changes will apply from 00:00 EEST 24th April 2017 until 00:00 EEST 25th April 2017."I will not be turning on trading until Weds morning, just not worth it.

No I looked at where I got out on my chartI had sells going.The market dropped after I got out, had I stayed in the market moved in my direction.

No two accounts match up perfectly, also I am dealing in USD and he is dealing in the rubble.Last night it put me in 6 trades and I lost a little because I decided to end them rather than take a chance on a huge loss like what happened in February.I don't believe there is a perfect system but I think this is a good one.

That's what I am doing Ian, you can look at my results as well.Had a hard hit in Feb but bounced back into the profits again :)I am looking forward to adding to my account so I can make much better trades.

Any comment Alex, is that your site as well?I have no problem if it is, I am just curious.One thing I noticed is that is says its based on a grid while Alex has insisted and proven Lion is not a grid EA.Do a search on the Tokyo page for the word grid and you will see.

I want everyone to understand why I "lost" over 25 times in a row.My account was at about $3200 I wanted to make it $5000 for the experiments I want to run.I went into my account at octa FX and used "top up" to bring it to $5000.It instead added $500 to the account bring me well over $8000.I lost money ON PURPOSE to get the account back down to about $5000.After I got it down far enough t I added $281 to bring me to about $5000.ANY trades/deposits after Dec 23 2016 should be disregarded.This account will be showing crazy things as I experiment.Please look to my real account...
