I suggest setting wine up on your desktop PC first then transfer the whole prefix32 directory to the vps. Also install x11vnc and fluxbox on the vps to run the graphical userface.

Windows has always been more unresponsive than Linux, even Linux + wine. One vps instance (OVH or Hetzner) can run 3 mt4 and still be much more responsive than Windows have ever been.KVM/OPENVZ: I run whatever system used by the providers.

yes.On Ubuntu 18.04 you need to install wine32 and use a 32 bit prefix to make it work.My start script:env WINEPREFIX=/home/XXX/prefix32 WINEARCH='win32' /opt/wine-staging/bin/wine /home/XXX/prefix32/drive_c/MT01/terminal.exe &/opt/wine-staging/bin/wine needs to be replaced with /usr/bin/wine on Ubuntu 18.04

98% of forex traders lose money.90+% systems work 1-2 years then blow up.If there is a fx system that can generate 3-5% per month for more than 2 years I haven't found it yet.

Regarding the article in post no 1https://protradingresearch.com/2017/12/14/one-bank-believes-it-found-the-identity-of-who-is-propping-up-the-bitcoin-market/I think it is fair but not more than that.If you look at https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/andhttps://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#marketsthen JPY is not that big a deal today as it used to be. Now Korea seems to be a much bigger player than Japan. The statement"Cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin that have pure distributed systems do not have an underlying value like precious metals. Value is not guaranteed by an ...

Matt, It's quite interesting that you spend so much time digging up 'dirt' on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies considering your public fx systems all fail.So I don't understand what you are doing here? Why advocate for a failed system (fx)?Or maybe your profitable fx systems are not public.

"Without security, law and order there will be no international trades" - this is the old system.Think about what you are saying if we replace currency with the internet"Without security, law and order there will be no internet". Computers can make transactions with no humans overseeing them. Think about how ridiculous it is when you want to advocate manual work rather than a robot doing it."Without a manual worker, there will be no cars being made" yet cars are being made with robots. So the old system = fiat currency will of course push peoples boundaries since t...

FX is more a bubble...especially those who think you can trade it profitably.Putting your money into stocks, ETFs etc is safer. Buy and hold beats FX trading.99% of FX traders lose yet people want governments to ban btc lol. Also the reality of current money is that the debt tied to it can never disappear. Yet people vote for politicians who favor austerity.BTC is more aligned to reality than the endless printing of government money.

Interesting. How do you avoid big drawdowns and potentially buying / selling something that trends a lot that breaks the normal martingale averaging down method?

The problem with counter trend trading which is a valid approach in forex unless you can prove otherwise is related to the high leverage and when reaching scenarios not encountered in historical data, say the range between high and low.If the latter has not been tested then it is better just to close all trades at a certain level because once you are in it is hard to get out unless you hedged from the start.

Averaging is not martingale.Martingale is doubling your amount risked when the trade before resulted in a loss.
