Youre addicted. Just like gambling, drugs or alcohol. You are not the mythical 0.0001% who they say "make it". Youre not special. Admit it. Thats the first step. Forex is a minus-sum game, you must find another, even slightly healthier game. That's going to be stocks. Try to trade less, adjust your mentality to slow investing rather than gambling.

Martingale is a cheap magic trick, it has nothing to do with trading the market.

Always set your leverage to 50x leverage or less! The more leverage you have, the stronger effect the market's random variance has on you. Its very simple statistics. However, if you fail to understand this, I will gladly take your money.

Some bucket shops will offer lower commissions to lure in more users, but you will always take (a huge) risk going with an unknown broker. Swaps also make a difference. For example, FXTM offers $2 commissions compared to ICMarkets $3.5, but actually they rob you via swaps so that ICM will be more cost-effective.

With raw spreads, you have the best conditions the overall market has to offer. With standard account, you have the best conditions your broker has to offer - this usually means less variation in the spread. You have to pay extra for this safety, though. I'd choose raw spreads.

Yes, but I'd rather think this "line" is more of a scale between those 2 extremes. Its much easier to appear professional and provide low quality, than appear unprofessional and provide high quality. This is why the former must be the majority on this site as well.

Ok, yes, maybe if you are in a very early stage of your trading career BUT you are already a master trader, then it is logical to train others for a fixed fee. But when you trade longer, you will eventually accumulate a capital that earns you $500k a month. At that point, you can't give a about $30k training courses, giving away your competitiveness for practically free. So yes I should have added "most probably" a scammer, but in any case we are talking 99.99% probability...

Anyone selling their "expertise" instead of just using that knowledge for their own trading is a scammer.

The fact that Swiss national bank can change their monetary policy does NOT mean minute to minute market manipulation.... As far as I know, ECB and Fed do not have any currency target prices, because that would just cause trade wars and a lose-lose situation to everyone. This is the reason we have the floating currencies in the first place. There surely is some manipulation happening in the bigger timeframe, but it is not like what majority of those conspiracists say to blame their trading failures on.

Lol that's EURCHFFor technical analysis to work, you need to trade an instrument that is popular among other trades. EURCHF is just a modified version of EURUSD and USDCHF - a version with very much noise and no technical opportunities. Trade EURUSD for better technical reliability, but the random noise will surely be still there, especially on lower timeframes.

Those promotions usually have a time limit for completing the required lots - creates you a psychological pressure to overtrade - you probably blow your 10k.I'd say stay away from the promotion, and be very careful with such amount of money. Beginning traders almost ALWAYS wipe the account.

When I began my forex thing in 2013, I started with the mt5 - and trying to trade with mt4 after first learning the newer system, it just feels inferior to mt5. Seriously. Especially the ea testing environment is far better on mt5.

First of all, start your own reply AFTER the /quote mark.Secondly, I'm not interested on biggest trades but average ones.Go to your mt4 "trading history" tab, right click it and choose "detailed report". Thats how you can analyse your success/loss

In a nutshell: you put million trendlines, fibonaccis and moving averages on the chart, and then make trading decisions by how you feel. I hope that is a demo account :DOr am I missing something?
