@Pay10 At first NZDUSD was doing really well an hour before daily close/default settings AND an hour before Tokyo open, but that has changed a little. I think NZDUSD is still a good pair but think there is better.

Note: A couple accounts started off in a loss cause of my own error, but you can sort of see what has been working if you look into it.

I was able to make a few accounts public, so you can review yourself:

What I am DYING to figure out is what constitutes a trade with FX Fury. What makes it open a trade? Can't figure it out.

@OTheFuture yeah I want to know what puts a trade on too, like what indicators they are using to open a positive.

The account they screen shotted sure does look interestingly familiar to me... It's my account haha.

@Pay10 They told me they can't/won't disclose the strategy because it can be copied, which I understand, really, but if we knew....I bet finding the perfect pair and time would be easier.

Cool/interesting they find your account worth using as a selling point for their product. Nice clarification comment, too. The EA world is sooo......idk.....not transparent. I have ideas on why that is, but it really makes rational thinkers skeptical of any of them. It took me weeks to buy the damn EA, but in the end something really told me it was worth the investment. So here I am.

Are you still just trading AUDJPY and GBPUSD? My AUDJPY account got hit hard on a loss recently as I was re configuring the time frame. Think it's good to go now.

I think we could really do some damage if we combined efforts on this thing. I'm just not sure what else to do besides let the demos run longer, ya know? Thoughts if ya have em.

On my live account, I switch between USDCHF at 09:00 and EURUSD at 04:00(Coinexx time/GMT+3).

(I connected with ya on Linkedin. I'm in Tulsa)

Here's a quick summary in response to your questions. I'm running a small live account with Fury 1.1. I have a few currencies running at once so that it trades more often. I'm about to run a demo account with Fury 2.1 just to compare and test the market. I have a bunch of other signals running, too - are any of you having success with other signals?

Fury has been up and down for me but mainly up. I've had a couple of odd trades / glitches which make it feel a little less stable than I'd like. I'm leaving it for a few months to see if that evens out.

Also - I'm not loving my VPS - does anyone have a better one? I've been running Interserver which seems a little slow when I remotely log in. I'm happy to keep you all posted for sure - and enjoying this conversation. Let's keep it going.

One other thing. I noticed that the settings I'm downloading from the Fury home page are all the same! I was hoping they would be refining their settings but when I asked, they said they weren't. Does anyone else think this is odd?

@Pay10 - That is truly cheeky of Fury to use your account without permission - let alone an incorrect claim! And yes - I'm up for collaborating. For what it's worth I lived in Austin, TX for quite a few years - were you @ UT? These days I'm down under ..

@GrooveDelicious Hey Tim. Thanks for the info and input! A question though:

Q: what do you mean by 'I have a few currencies running at once so that it trades more often'? Unless you have multiple licenses the EA can only trade one at a time. You can; however, change the pair/cross if say the one you trade at '23:00-23:59' didnt open anything, so you throw on the pair/cross that trades well at '02:00-02:59', but you have to do that manually. Was just hoping you could clarify if you have more than one license for FX Fury or how exactly you have 'a few currencies running at once'.(?)

The developers said that V2 is the choice version because they updated it to fit current market conditions. You have the option of NOT using the trailing stop loss and just have a set TP just like the previous version, but they made it rather clear that V2 has been optimized for current market. Just a tip I thought I'd share cause I also was gonna keep using V1 till I saw what they said about it.

For the VPS, I did extensive research on them and what is needed and I cannot recommend enough Hostwinds! https://affiliates.hostwinds.com/hostwinds.php?id=6973&url=1203 Ask me anything if you can't find the info yourself, but I am super satisfied with the VPS. I have my MT4's on a server that is 8 milliseconds from my broker. Execution is instant.

Is it possible to share your results yet or is it too early to tell?

@OTheFuture just time really since forward testing is the best way, back testing this is only useful to find a pair that will trade and some rudimentary settings to get started.

@GrooveDelicious I used Amazon AWS it's sooooo slow it's annoying but cheap/free for a year. I just bought a computer from a pawn shop and I'm using it and teamviewer to build my own VPS.

@GrooveDelicious I thought that was real weird too, no idea why they have the same settings I guess it's just a good strategy at those levels. I wondered why I wasn't getting the same trades as their accounts though, that I found more strange.

@Pay10 I agree. Forward testing is all I've been doing, myself. What pair and time do you find to be the best, thus far?

Cool on setting up your own VPS, btw. I almost did the same. I was just opening my PC and laptop up at a certain time of day. I still do that but it's sooo much easier running 10+ accounts on the VPS.

@GrooveDelicious Oh, yeah. Their 'set.' files are ALL the same. Always have been since I've known, anyway. They trade an hour before the daily close, which is when I trade manually, actually.

TIP: Here is an instructional on installing several MT4's on one system(basically when you install it, you have to save each one to a separate folder that is not 'program files'):

@Pay10 - let me answer you one Q by one ..

i. I tested a bunch of currency pairs on separate accounts then picked out my favorite = most stable results. The backtesting was also helpful. I chose USCHF and AUDUSD as the most solid. Then, I opened two charts at the same time - one for each pair. I think set the EA to run on both charts with a reduced risk / max transactions. That way the account is covering two pairs.

ii. My plan is to change servers to something better (about to try your recommendation - thank you) and run some demos on Fury 2.1. I'd like to run it against my current set up to see which is better / what the difference is. I'm also thinking a few new pairs are worth testing e.g. EURUSD.

Also - I wanted to ask you all - are you using any other EAs / following any other signals? I'm doing well, there. Always interested in what is working for everyone ..

Thank you for your reply, @GrooveDelicious

I forgot that you can run unlimited demos/multiple demos when I asked if you had two licensees(sorry multitasking isn't always the best idea)

USDCHF is my live choice right now. EURUSD is my second choice. Both pairs have low spreads and a consistent win rate.

Cool on the VPS. I definitely am NOT disappointed with them. I don't do affiliate stuff but grabbed that link from their site and am pretty sure it will do something for me. Idk. Never done it before.

I am not using other EA's or signals. I have a couple 'signals' via telegram but don't use them because I got them before I knew how to trade. I wouldn't mind investing in another but my investments are all tied up.

Note: the couple accounts I have that are 100% wins actually got a little lucky cause I had them down during a news event that otherwise would have generated at least one loss. Overall though, things are doing well with USDCHF, EURUSD, and formally NZDUSD. I could never get AUDUSD to win consistently. Or USDJPY.

I haven't tried NZDUSD. Sounds like I should add it to my tests!

Also - I've had trouble understanding spreads. Do you have any sense of what that should be set to? I'm with Pepperstone in case that's relevant here.

Also - FYI - I did some backtesting back in the day and wound up setting my Stop Loss to 21 instead of 29 - which seems to control the downside a little better.

Interesting. Controlling the downside and risk is very important, for sure.

I see people talk about moving it higher but not lower, which makes more sense to me.

It might be wise to go back through my trades and see how often price goes to X number of pips then set it close to that. cause one loss will literally wipe out 1-2 weeks worth of profit. As a swing trader, this drives me crazy. Our entire job as traders is managing risk.

@OTheFuture Not really much here either. But I am running EURUSD from hour 0-18 on Oanda to test out other time frames more accurately.

@Pay10 , your report indicates the best hours is 18:00~18:59, may I know it is your local time? or your broker's time? Thanks in advance.

Pay10 posted:
@OTheFuture No, I have the pairs set on this EA. EURUSD NZDUSD, AUDJPY, and GBPUSD.
I let it run fully automated, and the timing is what I think was the original settings they suggested.
This is the first I am hearing of a new version, I will have to check on the version I have.

@GrooveDelicious My settings are the basic settings except I adjusted the number of trades it is allowed to enter and I adjusted the size of taking profit. I only did those changes for NZDUSD and EURUSD.

@GrooveDelicious @OTheFuture @Mark0815
The picture I attached has the latest results from the testing I did running the EA on multiple pairs and time frames on one account.

Hope this helps

@gchang01 Thanks for the post - I can't find the pic - did I miss something?!

@OTheFuture Yes, I have some trades - I have a few pairs testing.
