@jjdenver I, personally, keep Fridays turned off. FX Fury support said they do the same, but it's what suits you. Because the "Risk to reward" ratio is skewed, minimizing losses is paramount, in my opinion. I am focused on that more than anything. The EA works and has a decent win rate, but what does that matter if wins are knocked out by one loss? This is currently the aspect I'm researching the most. Saw this question and not sure if it was answered but if your settings are different, like maybe, his "Max spread" or "max slippage" was different, that could be why.

Gotcha. We can keep up the convo here. Agreed on the speed thing, really, but given the choice of the middle of America or closer to the brokers servers...I personally want to be closer to them. I didn't know that Coinexx gave a free VPS with a certain deposit amount, no. I actually was asking about perks for higher deposits via their chat the other day and they basically told me there were none. I'll look into that more. Thanks for the info. You'd think $5000 would get ya more than about 2 instances of MT4. I am running 8 currently on my VPS. Some longer term, some shorter term....

First initial impressions....clearly not native English speaking(not that that means anything). I've seen several of these before in other places. A little pricey. I'm def pro good EA's but until this first investment pays for itself in full, I'm not looking to get another; however, this seems like a decent resource for potential good ones. Oh, I see what youre saying. Its not the "max trades". Its just overall taking more trades/cycles. I understand you not wanting to share your settings publicly, but perhaps I could ask what you're liking best elsewhere/privately? Im curious to know if you change pairs and times each month, too? Have you ever set it to trade a 1:1 ratio like 35 TP and 35 SL to see what that does? Proper money management theory suggests that would work, but it is designed as a scalper. @Pay10 If you look at your very last trade on the live account, it says it won 15 pips. This is why I asked if trailing stop was running or if your TP is higher.

Hmmm. Interesting. Is your TP set higher? Shows TPs at 15 +pips on several trades. Do you ever manually adjust things during trades?Going to go live on a new and bigger account this month and am just making sure I have all my ducks in a row. Currently, only live account is a small one.

Hey yeah I know. Lol. Cool. From what I understand, part of what makes V2 /2.1 better is it's adapted to the current market better. Can you tell if V1 is taking the same trades as V2? Also, their support is pretty awesome in responding and talking with you. Have you ever reached out to them?

In description you say, "Testing on optimal time period with adjusted risk profiles for the pairs". What do you mean exactly, if you don't mind, sir? Also you said, "according to the tests this should be the most profitable way to run this EA based on entry time at least". Are you saying that the time you let the EA trade is whats most profitable? So basically the daily close on EURSD and AUDJPY are your best? Thanks man.

@Pay10 It looks like they changed how MyFXBook works with MT4. Just tried to attach a new demo and its all different. That might have something to do with it. I use Hostwinds and have been rather pleased. A couple times Windows has updated and I had to go in and pull the MT4s back up but not sure how anyone gets around that at all. That is strange. I've never had to use the EA, either. Been able to just verify accounts with the password thing. Did have to reach out to support once thought and they fixed it within a day or two. Def reach out to them....they seem helpful. Too early to tell just yet but I am doing exactly what you mentioned. Have you ever tried just putting a hard SL and TP, like, 30 on and watched how that did? Basically, the strategy is "will it hit 30 pips in profit first or hit the 30 pip SL". No. No problems here. Try support or the FAQ, maybe. But no problems here. Side note: Demo tests are looking pretty pre tty nice lately. Narrowed down to a couple pairs around the same time and it is consistently doing well. EURUSD at daily close is almost flawless, right now / so far. Trying some different Trailing Stop settings for a while.
