Friday 13/04/2012 (London)USD/CHF – Potential SellI’ll be avoiding the CHF, at least for this morning. On the H4 we have a perfect bearish down trend which I expect to continue. We can however see a bullish rate on the M15. This could be a retracement. If the rate breaks below yesterday’s daily low of 0.90908, then not only do we have matching charts in terms of market flow, we also have a nice breakout to trade. Yeah but cmon - it makes no difference whatsoever to your account profile as it is now at all - the only difference is its verified.ANYBODY can manipulate myfxbook to show fake results - and by not verifying your account you are only giving yourself a bad name - as we all think these are manipulated results with them not being verified...

Agreed - there is no point in a verified demo, we all know this.But my question is, why isnt this REAL account verified? Its the only way to prove it isnt manipulated and it isnt hard to do. I got my refund straight away when I asked.... although i wouldn't say its a bad EA as such, for plug in and go yes its terrible, but if you have the time and money to play around with different brokers and loads of different settings then like others on here youll make profits overall ? I just didnt have the time to do all of that so got a refund instead.

Mate check out Robofx.org - i recently used them to code my own strategy and they are absolutely superb!!!!! and the prices are amazing... Put it this way my average quotes were $500 for what I wanted.. they did it for $99 and have done a fantastic job

Maybe the reason EAs eventually blow is down to the fact that most aren't based on solid strategy, they are based on high risk algorithms.... and when I say high risk, what investor would hand over funds to a fund manager who regularly risks 10% and more in one day? After all if based on an algorithm as I guess this is, then execution times and spreads WILL eventually kill the bot once a certain number of people are using it...?

Lighten up guys, where's the fun... being able to have a joke and some banter despite a bad month so far is commendable. I do have a question though - having to spend hours, days AND profits trying to work out the best settings and what broker to use.... doesn't this pretty much take the whole point of an "Automated Trading Robot" out of context?I mean, not to slag MDP off as yes its made some people I know ALOT of money, but my point is should a GOOD EA be plug in and go and BOOM? I mean -10% in a day is frightening.... Surely a GOOD EA is automated, comes with the best sett...

Thats better... getting there now eh! I decided to keep my refund from MDP this in the end. Made my own EA instead. 36/37 trades won so far over 3 weeks, max risk 1% per trading day. woopwoopwoop .... tempted to add FFM though once its got longer term real results :)
