Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Decides To Buy Back Own Shares For Employee Participation Program
(RTTNews) - As part of it's employee participation program this year, the Executive Board of Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide has decided to buy back own shares through the stock exchange.
To fulfill all claims up to 75,000 of its own shares (about 0.081 percent of the capital stock) will be bought back.
The share buyback serves solely to fulfil the obligations arising from the employee share capital program of Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide. The total purchase price (excluding incidental costs) is up to 4.00 million euros.
The share buyback will begin on 04 June 2024 and will be completed by 30 June 2024 and it will be carried out by an independent financial service provider.

Fraport Stock Up On H1 Profit, Upbeat FY23 Earnings View
Shares of Fraport Group were gaining around 8 percent in the morning trading in Germany after the airport operator reported Tuesday a profit in its first half, compared to last year's loss, with strong passenger demand. The company further said it now expects to meet the upper half of its earnings projection range for fiscal 2023.

U.S. Jobless Claims Dip More Than Expected To 233,000
A report released by the Labor Department on Thursday showed first-time claims for U.S. unemployment benefits fell by more than expected in the week ended June 22nd. The Labor Department said initial jobless claims dropped to 233,000, a decrease of 6,000 from the previous week's revised level of 239,000. Economists had expected jobless claims to edge down to 236,000.
