Thanks, Yes we are very pleased with the current results. DE30 is the German indice, that is correct. The account shown is traded with a progressive 2% risk per trade but less volatile settings are also possible. We trade approx. 4 trades per day on average, can be from zero to eight trades per day, depending primarily on valitilty. Definitely no martingale or grid. Unfortunately my broker screws up the results by "Auto Account Sync". For some strange reason they keep on debiting and crediting amounts all the time. That is really annoying but otherwise we are very happy with the trade...

http://www.myfxbook.com/members/SCManagement/scm-break-out/1215591Profit is 210,21% at the moment. Unfortunately my broker has a thing that is called "Auto Account Syn". For whatever reason they debit and credit amounts all the time. So far it has not affected my trading but in the stats it looks like adding and withdrawing funds all the time. This is not the case and I can prove this with a report. The initial deposit was 4995 Euros and at the moment I have + 15000 Euros in the account.1) The account must be real - no demo's. (please do not argue here that it is the same as a li...

@ChrisMuzhik Thanks for your comment. What do you mean by "PR thread"? And where can I find that rating? I am still struggling with myfxbook 😐The strategy is a self-written EA that we backtested from 2008. The account we show is traded with 2% per trade but it can also be adjusted in order to get less volatility. For our own money we are happy with 2% and so far we do not complain.

more than 10 yrs experience - also as a broker - have seen thousands of private traders and even EAs couldn't help most traders because they tend to interfere manually or constantly change settings. there are many more reasons why private traders loose but that will take to long. to answer the question: definitely a money manager.

well, when i am sick i go to a doctor or somebody with a proper medical education. when my car needs new brakes, i go to a garage where the mechanic got a proper education and when i give somebody my money, i go to s.b. who has the licence. i understand that this does not necessarily means that my health improves, my car does not brake down and my investment generates a plus but i am sure that all of my decisions improve my chances.good luck for everybody who goes to a sangoma, to a backyard garage and a not licences money manager.

if you trade in germany on behalf of clients and take money (e.g. profit share) for it, you need to be licenced. if you trade in switzerland on behalf of clients (a certain amount of clients/ funds applies) and take money for it, you need to be licenced. and if you want to open an account with e.g. british/ german/ swiss brokers and trade clients from these countries resp. you are located in these countries, they will only allow you to trade on behalf these clients with a licence. if you as a trader accept logins from s.b. and you do not have the licence required by your laws, you personally c...

oh, and serious and honest brokers never allow a not regulated person to trade on behalf of clients with a PAMM because they could become liable for clients losses.

not regulated managers often brake the law by trading on behalf of other people. i would never invest my money with not regulated brokers and i don't understand people doing this.

brokers have many more ways to make clients loose their money, e.g. slippage, stop-hunting, delayed order execution,... then they don't have the problem of not paying profits because traders will have less chances to make a profit at all.

well, i disagree. bad brokers make money with their clients - means: client's losses are brokers profits. and there are so called money managers that - on purpose - generate a total loss in client's accounts and yep, share with the broker.but this should not apply for swiss banks, i hope for you. acutally, dukas says to be an ecn/stp-broker and therefore this shouldn't happen. and if it does, involve finma. you are swiss, dukas is swiss and finma is swiss, too.and don't forget to diversify your money by investing with sc-m also.

good luck with your investment and you are right that the money is not with the guys in NZ. i think anyway that this is one big advantage with managed accounts. the money is always in my account. unfortunately there are too many bad brokers and account managers that are very creative trying to "steal" clients funds.

it is a combination: most of it is emotions, the majority of traders doesn't understand this. secondly, imho, it is the wrong broker, again the majority of traders doesn't understand how to chose the correct broker and probably a good portion of all brokers are bucket shops. so even if you were a good trader, you wouldn't stand a chance. my first live trading account (pure luck, but i didn't know then) went up from usd 2000 to usd 7500 within weeks. ok, good old times where we didn't have mini- and microlots. anyway, i did send a fund request for 4000 and all i got was a co...

i agree to Paul Ng and not to waed. Human mind is the worst enemy of traders. a useful combination where the systems executes automatically and is monitored by humans that know when and how to interfere should do the trick. i have been in the business for more than 10 years and i have seen many, many manual traders - and i have not really seen winners in the long term. i started seeing winners when EAs became popular - although 99% of the EAs also make a loss in the long run because some bucket shops looks for some fools in order to get the money.

as i said, i do not know that NZ company and therefore can't say anything bad about it. just a couple of things that would make me wonder. yes, the swiss law applies for your account as this is held with dukas but this does not count for your money manager. this is a nz-based company and therefore the nz-laws apply. and i am quiet sure that you can file a complaint with dukas but if you want to go to court, you do it in nz. people are quiet often mislead with "facts and information" especially when it comes to fx-accounts. size matters, also with accounts. if you are a money mana...

hm, ... a regulated money manager has a real company. office, maybe staff, tax, etc. and why should a trust an amateur with my money. i have seen amateur money managers, they take half their clients and go long and the other half to go short. of course, the leverage is far too high but on one side they make a huge profit and charge a nice performance fee. i would never give a not-licenced person my account to trade. never ever.

yes, both can do you harm, same with brokers. but if i have a licencsed broker/ money manager in a country where they take regulation seriously, i have the chance to contact the authorities if i have a claim. still no guarantee but i have seen brokers/ money managers fold the moment they were threatened with regulators. so it gives you some sort of power. on the other hand,
