Im refering to the multiplier. It's relitive to the risk ratio the user sets. 1/2 risk ambush is 30%. DD etc.. We have many followers on myfx but 90% of them use a much lower multiplier from what we see in the admin area. Many followers less than half our risk.

Hi Victor, the ambush capital account is highly leveraged now and the client deposited for us to do this before we "stepped on the gas". We have been scaling and trailing stops slowly but our setups are not even near their targets yet. We may be forced to close out soon as client is eager to cash out but, despite that we are at that time of year when the big market trends can happen and this is usually where our trading thrives. 20% dd is nothing in forex when you consider our stats. DD is also relative and salable depending on what you goals are. We have a double leverage mam, an normal mam and 1/2 leverage .

Let me tell you guys how autotrade is as a signal provider. We make money people join. We lose money people leave. As results people join at highs and leave at lows and very few are making money while we have had a huge gain this year. Hi sam, boston prime is bankrupt , Myfxbook needs to update the server name. Boston prime was a white label on boston tech with many other brokers. Ambush Capital's account is with Forexware Markets/FXDD on Boston Technologies Live Server, not Boston prime. We have multiplied our risk because we are working with a 40% DD on this . This is true, @rob559 i might have worded it wrong, many brokers have dealing desks, markup schemes etc, but direct manipulation is not as common anymore because there is so much FX mt4 broker competition the broker will lose the client. In regards to automated, i think the space is too crowded with people trying to automate. i think 90% of traders who find mt4 is because they hear of Automated EA's. I also think 90% of traders will put more effort into buying, building and experimenting with EA's than putting that same effort into developing the discipline and skill needed for manual ...

I don't agree that because it's automatic, it's better. These are the words of someone who cannot manually trade and fear it. If you were put you in a room with pencil , paper, quote board and a phone, you cannot pull money from the market. You need to optimize and enhance your program as the market changes in order to survive. This is a different talent than manual trading but it can take the same amount of work in the end. Just following up with this thread... I see a lot of account links referenced a few months ago have been deleted. We don't deny EA's can make money , but the odds are far against you. The only automated things we have seen work in real life and make REAL money are at the institutional level where quants run algos to pick off flow from credit clients trading on aggregated liquidity. These same quants also work at retail brokers where they run stats and probability scenarios on profitable accounts for them to direct the flow right to their pocket before flushing it to their ,so called, &...

To clarify, im talking small trades. You can set up and internal ECN and set the bridge connected to MT4 to send directly to the pool, but this usually starts at 5-10 lots because the Liquidity providers 90% of the time are pricing 1 mil per tick and prime brokers charge large fees below 2 lots. In general 98% of the time small trades(under 5 sometimes less) are pooled in the back end to be matched off with another MT4 clients exposure before going to the bank if it even has to.

I happen to have worked for a prime broker's dealing desk, I know exactly how ECN and MT4 execution works, and I can tell you without a single deniable fact, that there is no such thing as ECN access through MT4... The reason? MT4 handles the quoting and trade confirmation in its own system- your trade never goes any further... ever... For starters, your size isnt even big enough to get a quote from the ECN (10k lot? 100k lot? Not on the ECN!) So your size gets pooled with the liquidity at the prime broker and will never even see pass through to the ECN... So I again re...

I am in this business and i can tell you there is no real retail ecn on mt4, and no brokers taking .01 directly to liquidity providers . NDD is just a way of saying our internal exposure is handled via automated clearing or matching offset, not a desk. And to be clear, the volume used to match internally or what was cleared, is the risk the broker took from your trade. After internal matching on the so called "ECN" if there is no match it sends to the top of the book via STP. This is why there is slippage on ECN setups when you trade larger. Yes but whats the systems ability to scale ? Do you have any Caesar account histories using 1 lot size ? I hear a lot of slippage using this system so it might only be good from small accounts where the broker is auto approving the trade and not sending it to the bank. There is nothing wrong with it, it just means it will never be an institutional level system that could make the real money and trade the real market. I suppose if you spread across a bunch of small brokers that bucket trades, it could do well for some time.

It's not impossible but from my experience in years of trading and also sitting behind the desk of some bigger fx brokers doing analytics for bbooking retail clients and replicating profitable flow of credit clients, I can say chances of success are extremely low and any success will be short lived. Retail traders are better off investing more time and putting in the hard work required to be a successful manual trader. Very little edge for automated in the retail space, esp with the limits of mt4.
