@uxStyle Going good growing accounts is significantly easier once account hits 1k, as always people can continue to see performance etc, in terms of being drained, not really possible. Trading on this account is relaxing for me and fun, much less stressful then working for 5ers, more of a hobby.

No I don't use automated strategies---its no problem currently using this account to prove a point, the fund I work for (5%ers) I don't trade until january 10th so main money maker wasn't touched haha. This account I am just over leveraging to attempt to build up a large amount of money quickly

Loss was a margin call---it didn't hit my stop loss but didn't recover enough before the weekend for my broker to allow me to keep it open. Eurnzd---https://gyazo.com/57cea52dfea7953b8320e2f25bc81f78 I entered at 61.8 retracement, stop loss is at 5, unfortunately my account is too small to take longer term positions without hitting a margin call, I entered once it hit reversal zone--I should have waited a bit until momentum switched based on the smaller account size, was my mistake. Originally my plan for the smaller account was to shoot for a 50-60% monthly growth starting then scale ...

No such thing as a super trader--- currently I am over leveraging my account so I can attempt to gain faster growth to hit the time period I set. I will scale back risk and go for a more conservative growth plan now---timeframe to 100k on this account has been extended based on new risk profile, it will take roughly 8-10 years.

I said it would take 2-4 years everybody, everyone is talking about massively increasing a n amount in just months, I strive for solid risk managent, and compounding over time, thats the best way to consistently have long term growth.

1.28 million dollar account is traded on personal computer yes, but through a VPS, much safer I don't have to worry about losing internet so my algos are always running to manage my risk, worth it when trading much higher amount of money. I apologize for lack of trading the past month--- I moved to dubai and am just getting settled in, will resume trading regularly in february, internet here sucks so will have to get another vps to trade on.

i hate it when people say "just program it into ea" because EAs have to constantly be updated to account for trading conditions and changes in the market, mechanical systems dont

Yea, i had a small drawdown but it was within my risk profile to have some losing trades in a row cant win 100%. even elliot waves arent that accurate lol

A perfect example, I was using a system that had given me a 65% winrate over 2 years. I had a friend of mine who wanted me to help him start trading profitably as he had been losing for over a year, I gave him the system because the rules were simple to follow. He started sending me messages about how he kept getting losers for trades I had him screenshot and almost all of his losers didn't 100% match rules, they may have matched 1 or 2 rules, but never all of them. When it comes down to it the reason people lose is because even when they get a profitable system, they either don't foll...

I think you don't understand the point. Give a loser a profitable system, they will skip rules, revenge trade, use bad risk management instead of following the system exactly. They can turn a winning system, into a losing one.

Also good way to find start of new elliot waves, On the chart look for the last 5-3 move, after that you can expect a new Elliot wave, so wait for a impulsive move in one direction, once it starts pulling back use retracement to 50-61.8 level and boom then you can trade wave 3, although waves 4 and B are easiest to trade in my opinion because those waves you get most data, wave 3 has best risk reward though.

I only trades wave 3,5 and C, and enter on the waves 2, 4, and B pullback at specific fib ratios, on wave 2 I place a pending at 50, or 61.8 pullback with SL at beginning of wave 1, and target at 161.8 extention, wave 4 you enter at 38.2 pullback of the wave 3 move, target is inverse 161.8 of wave 4, stop loss would be the 50 retrace of wave 3, and to trade wave C you enter at 50 retracement of wave A, sl is starting of wave A extension is 100 extension of ABhttps://gyazo.com/3e20bfcf505d2f077048f89038568c49 Here is a screenshot of eurusd that shows a forecast on 1hr of where price should go....

I have traded professionally for the fund 5%ers for awhile now and have traded overall for 5 years as my backround. i guarantee you i could give a losing trader a profitable system and they would still lose. i know because i tested it. People trade with emotions, they start a new system, get some wins, get overconfident, think they cant lose, start to over leverage and boom, string of losses, back in negative, and they blame broker and strategy then look for a new strat rinse and repeat. tats the biggest problem i see, also, follow my trading, 10% monthly is easy my firm requires that monthly ...

Is stop loss hunting real ?

Yes a stop loss is important and their ARE shady brokers, but in terms of regulated brokers they aren't able to artificially inflate spread etc. they are required by law to tell clients if they trade against you, as well as have to give consistent spreads. They also don't have enough capital to trade against you and for people like OANDA, it would be counterproductive. They make most of their money from commissions, and make MORE if you are profitable then if you are a loser, and take better care of you. Stop loss hunting isn't real among regulated brokers, as it would cost them mo...
