The gain in Pips is so small.., I think the commissions, spreads and Slippage/requotes would eat up all your profits, perhaps that's why the EA Vendor doesn't show the account balance and profit?

1st June to 30th June is +391.1 pips after the losses are deducted.. I'm not sure where you get -98.2 pips from? is that from your account rather than the myfxbook account? if so I would change brokers :o) the myfxbook account shows 186% growth in June, making it the best month for the Bot this year, of course that's not a compounded percentage but rather based on the $250 initial deposit...

yeah, that's true Steve.. I have just checked the past 3 months and it looks like this Unemployment Data, while being historically the most significant announcement for the month, hasn't triggered any trades in May or June on the day, while in April it did cause some bad trades early, it completely recovered the losses in the afternoon to end in profit so I'm not entirely convinced that today wasn't just really unluckly for some reason perhaps due to the EURUSD hiting significant support and the institutional traders gunning for everyone's stops.....

thanks guys, Appreciate the advice :-) I will certainly do that in the future.. it does make me wonder though, if that's true, why don't the creators of the EA stop trading on this news day too? or at least list it as a warning in the manual?and Another thought is, would there be the possibility that Growth bot may actually work better under this scenario where news anouncements might cause large moves in the market that would trigger a buy/sell order and generally that trend should continue "most" of the time?are there any other big news annoucements that you would recommend...

yep, I'm down about $8,000 on today.. still up overall so I'm sticking with it but surely there should be some sort of Filter to stop it continuously entered trades when the market is clearly in a whipsaw rather than a solid continiously trending market which this EA is designed for...
