Guys, I got a word Alpari is looking into expanding in Vietnam. I know people there in the industry. Must be not hurting that bad afterall...I am convinced they are mafia controlled.

Hi all, Alpari has closed out all my trades - I was not in front of my PC (MT4) for weeks (was out of country for a while) - I am a Long term trader (Weekly charts). Made some huge profits on the USDCHF pair thou :). "They" have closed all my trades and 5 of my trades in the negative thou. What is my next step now to put those trades back ? I will not take those losses !!!! - are they going to breakeven on those or what ?

Hi Steve, I am very stupid when it comes to these things with brokers etc........ I only know that I never had issues with Alpari before and never switched to other brokers etc...... I only want to know what is my next step now......... all my trades has come to halt and all my trades were stopped by them. Its not my mistake.......... why should I take the losses ? What can I do ? I have checked out the link and does not see anything helpfull on there.

Nothing really, an email or call will receive the same information already there.
Here's the part relevant to you on that screen.
In the meantime maybe you could contact the FCA and financial ombudsman service, although my feeling is they would point you to KPMG.

Thankyou Steve, I am glad there are still helpfull people out there like you. I think I will give it week and see if I recieve any feedback from them by e-mail. In the meanwhile I will also see if I can place claim........... What broker do you suggest I must join next ? (MT4 platform)

Here are some brokers I am with that acted ethically during the SNB crisis the other week. None of these are recommendations, please do your own due diligence with regards to spreads, slippage etc.
IG, Hot Forex, DMM FX
Personally I wouldn't use just one broker. I use around 10 at a time, that way a broker going down doesn't take you down. I also had an account at Alpari but lost less than 10% of my capital due to broker diversification.

I like you have got caught up in the Alpari (UK) insolvency. I am in credit and suffered closed trades by the broker.
KPMG have sent e-mails to all creditors and investors.
The accounts will remain suspended until either Alpari is sold or the monies returned to investors (should take about 8 weeks).
Watch FXMagnates they are on the money with all things FX.

Yip, I am not a happy chappy at all............they closed out all my trades. Some of them in losses. Some of them pending and could have made profits in the last week. You say 8 weeks ? my questions still stays' "Will they compensate for the trades they closed ? or will they keep me in those trades ? I dont care how they do it but I will not take the losses !!!!!!! I will hunt them and their families down like wild animals - they dont know me..............
