Hi, I notice your pamm account is different to your demo,
there is a sell trade open at 10.20.2010 03:45 in your demo but not the pamm account.

Yes, of course. In the moment of this trade, the terminal of the PAMM account was crashed.

The FOREX trading is not only profits. What do you expecting? There are also bad periods. In our website you can see the maximal historical draw down - it is about 660 pips for the last 6 and a half years. That information is visible for all visitors. Are you a purchaser of FOREX COMBO SYSTEM?

Are you talking about the following Forex Combo Demo 1 and Demo 2?

FYI - I have my stop on the scalping strategy set to -30 pips. I may get stopped more often but I get less DD.
I'll test it this way for awhile and see what happens.

In the user guide we recommend 5% average risk per trade (TradeMMSys(1,2,3)=5) for each one subsystem. With this level of risk the FOREX COMBO SYSTEM will survive in any circumstances.

As well we recommend as absolute minimum $1000 account for trading with volume 0.1 lot (10,000), and $10000 account for trading with volume 1.0 lot (100,000).

All this is conformable with the maximal achieved draw down.

Can I suggest that you go and read something on risk management and position sizing or you are very rapidly going to end up in the percentile of people who lose all their money in forex.

On the subject of stop losses. I don't know how Forex Combo scales it's positions but if it does scale them for each strategy and
scale them according to the stop loss set then 15,228 pips with 793 drawdown using a 30 pip stop loss is a hell of a lot better than making 17,938 pips profit with 775 pip drawdown on a 300 pip stop loss.

Many traders focus on pips gained and it's useful to focus on pips lost/gained when trading. However using tighter stop losses allows you to size your positions larger and so the equivalent pips gained can mean a lot more money gained.

( Although I appreciate Forex Combo rarely uses the full 300 pips )

The automatic lots are calculated on a base of 100 pips hypothetical loss. In example if TradeMMSys(1,2,3)=5, that is mean 5% loss from the account free margin, per trade on each 100 pips loss. If the 300 pips is reached (very unlikely) that will be 15% draw down if TradeMMSys1=5.

Just wondering why this pamm account is showing different trades than your other forex combo accounts. For example the number 3 trade that exits today (1st Nov) appears on through pamm at this time as a profit but has been stopped out as a loss your other two systems (forex combo and forex combo 2) why the difference please ?

Once again today on the fed announcement your other combo accounts show 3 consecutive 30 pip losses whereas this pamm account shows only 1. Are they running on different brokers with different minimum spread settings?

The difference between the brokers is normal. I have 30 pips forbidden zone in Alpari, so I have rejected trades sometimes.

Which Alpari broker is it? UK, RU, NZ ?

Pc8multifx, this is Alpari RU. I think it is the same with Alpari NZ.

Albatore, this position is closed by hand. In the same moment in all demos i have 20 pips trailing stop near to the market price.

As I told early in this thread, I will close by hand if there is a big profit for the breakout strategy.
