Hello, thank you for commenting. Actually i try to consider such risks when set up lot size and other risk parameters in my system. If you want to be more safe you can stop trading during this period, but i prefer to catch these spikes if they happen.

First week of new year was again positive for dollar index, volatility wasn't much high. But looks like this week brings us fresh volatile moves from the beginning. Macro data from Europe is positive while US data is negative, and these are good signs for buying major currencies against US dollar. Let's see how market awakens in this 2025.
