Hi Modris

Its hard to describe something that is based on experience and years spent staring at the screen. Basically I trade based on price patterns and support/resistance levels but it still takes past experience to make the right judgment.

The cumulative gain on this account is not accurate.
Being a PAMM account the account receives tiny (few cents to few dollars) adjustments very often either as deposit or withdrawal and it looks like Myfxbook is considering those adjustments as regular deposits and withdrawals and resets the equity balance to the balance at the time of the adjustment instead to the time of proper deposit or withdrawal. At this point the gain is shown as 79.95% but in reality should be over 100%, simple net deposits/net profit is at 128%.
I'm going to ask myfxbook team what they can do about this, hopefully they can make adjustment in their system to ignore those transactions and if it can be done I probably should expect some comments that that statement is manipulated, oh well I don't give a s...

very impressive indeed :) I'm amazed by your win/loss ratio. Although I understand that win/loss ratio means nothing in reality. Yours is still... impressive to say the least.

judging by the little information on your managed-kf page, it seems that your risk reward ratio is 1:1, and you definitely pick your intra-day battles correctly.

How does one vouch? You definitely deserve mine.

My style is different from yours, I have around 50% win/loss ratio, but my losses are small, and my winners are usually big.

I always cut risk at logical areas, and manage accordingly.. although I only have around 2 weeks of data on here, my curve should start to shape up soon.. I sometimes get taken out at B/E + some pips, but thats all part of my style.

My usual stop is around 20-50 pips, and I usually try to wait for 1:3 RR setups at least. But when a nice 1:1 setup appeals to me I will take it. Or will take b or c trade, with as low as 0,10% of my equity. My maximum risk per trade is 1%.

anyways, enough of my ranting.. Looking forward to follow your progress, now lets bag some pips :)

Best regards,

Stefán~

Stefan

You can vouch only after you have 3 vouches from someone else, I'm going to get you started with one from me. Be respectful of other here and try to help as much as you can and others will vouch for you as well.

Thanks for your input, I look forward to following your progress as well.

I seem to be making most of my trades using 2-3 PA patterns that pretty much always come through for me. I don't pay much attention to what the RR is.
My main concern is that the trade is profitable which is generally determined by the entry and I exit at S/R levels.

I don't use hard SL because my patterns eventually work and I monitor my trades actively when they are open so in case I loose faith in a trade I close it manually.
My trades take anywhere from minutes to days to complete.

PAMM issue

Well, it looks like myfxbook will not be able to do anything at the moment to address this PAMM adjustments issue I mentioned few posts ago here. Their current methodology kind of smooths out the curve and is great for just a single account but it unfortunately does not show true return for PAMM accounts, I hope they can address this in the future.

Anyway, I'm going to try to do the calculations on my own by filtering the PAMM adjustments out. I'll post my calculations here at the end of each week.

You can make your Balance public, then we able to calculate ourself how much your gain after filter out the deposit.

How come you not put your PAMM account link from broker in your general description ? Only a page introduction of your FX mange service. Can you update the PAMM account broker link so I can see the PAMM profiles ?

DoubleTrap

1. To say it nicely, I simply don't really care if someone believes me or not, not my problem and I'm definitely not going to advertise my and my investors' balances out here.
Anyway we're talking about percentage gains and it really does not matter what the $ or euro or whatever balance is, %%% calculations in the modern world mathematics system are pretty much the same no matter how you look at it. I was going to do the calculations and filter out the adjustments but I'm just too lazy for that and besides I'm having too much fun trading lately.

2. I have honestly no idea what you are asking about - please clarify

Broker normally have PAMM account rating where you can see the performance and invest to the PAMM account.

For Example https://www.alpari-forex.com/en/pamm/rating/essence/pamm/action/monitoring/id/197331/

So what is your PAMM account link to investor to join ? And what is the minimum to invest?

Can describe also what is the requirement of your Broker to open PAMM account ?
Such as manager Account deposit require and Leverage of PAMM account.

Ok, now I can answer

I saw that Alpari had this rating thing but I didn't see it on many other brokers, and I'm not aware that my broker has this function at this time, however I have not inquired about it with them but will do so and will post here what I find out.
I recognize the convenience it brings.

Therefore, I cannot provide a link for such thing at this time.
The way it works right now, person opens a trading account at one of my brokers, fills out an LPOA and the account gets attached to my PAMM or LAMM and gets traded (standard procedure)
My website also answers a lot of questions www.rwfxm.com

I don't want to answer questions for my brokers as far their conditions and requirements, I think it would be most proper if you contact them directly.

LOL.

160 Pip drawdown on EURJPY for a mere 7.8 PIP gain. ???
And a 20% Equity Drawdown that I noticed last Friday.
This is not Trading, Nor Scalping.

Would you like to come clean Robert and Tell the Truth about your trading activity?

And, why you refuse to Display your Account balance with Deposits and Withdraws?

If you come clean now, It would be very wise of you. Especially since your a Big believer of Karma and Honestly, right???

I really thought you were the real deal. And, I was considering to diversify a nice sum into your PAMM.

From my quick and basic math Example, this is my finding.

Lets say one pip = $1. and a 160 Pip Drawdown with a $1000 balance total would be right about 16% Equity Drawdown.
$1000 and $160 DrawDown on 1 Position on EURJPY == 16% equity drawdown... I also noticed that you still have 1 position working/ floating..

So, this other Current Open position can account for the other 4% equity drawdown that I noticed on Friday. ..Last Friday I guess I looked right at the Wrong time, to Screenshot an 80% Equity Balance... EEK.

We will have to see within the next few days to see what the real Drawdown was on your current floating Position.. It's gonna be interesting...

Show the Balance and ALL the questions will be answered!!!

I also opened up a PAMM account for experimenting and to see if Manipulation is and was Possible and YES it is..

Each time a deposit comes Through, (whether his, an adjustment, or from an investor) the Balance shows a Positive GAIN. hmmmm.. Very interesting...

And 1 more thing that Caught my eye and probably others, is that your First Account (first account on myfxbook). You never updated to myfxbook and the results show a 91% equity balance.. To me this is a red flag, I really think, the trade went against you and you blew your account... At this time,, you also took a break from posting and and you jumped back and said, blah blah blah,

Also very interesting

>>>LOL.
>>>160 Pip drawdown on EURJPY for a mere 7.8 PIP gain. ???

Yes, and If I like it I'll take even 1 pip, if you don't like it you don't have to be part of it.

__________________________________________________________________________

>>>And a 20% Equity Drawdown that I noticed last Friday.

And your point is???
For your information it was probably even at 22%
And, Yes I always inform my investors that I do not have preset SL
Read the risk disclosures on my site

___________________________________________________________________________

>>>This is not Trading, Nor Scalping.

Actually I don't really care what you call it, I get my results and that is what counts for me.
I'd like to see your 'trading' results on live account.

_______________________________________________________________________________

>>>Would you like to come clean Robert and Tell the Truth about your trading activity?

Geez that jealousy must really be eating you away
What else would you like to know?

______________________________________________________________________________

>>> And, why you refuse to Display your Account balance with Deposits and Withdraws?

Read my website the entire thing and you can find your answer
hint: I'm not operating here with a thousand or two.

__________________________________________________________________________________

>>>If you come clean now, It would be very wise of you. Especially since your a Big believer of Karma and Honestly, right???

Yes, I am a big believer in Karma and Honesty but what does privacy has to do with Karma??
If you don't like my policies don't work with me, simple as that - we call it voting with your feet.
Do you see me begging anyone here to join like so many others do - I don't think so.

__________________________________________________________________________________

>>>I really thought you were the real deal. And, I was considering to diversify a nice sum into your PAMM.

Please don't, I don't want to deal with people with that attitude and trust level - its never going to work out

_____________________________________________________________________________________

I have many positions floating and they will come to a nice profit in due time - stay tuned :)
Not worried about them a bit even if DD comes to 50%
But that's me, you people get yourself wrapped up in your BS rules with no faith in your trading skills (or no skills) and the moment something goes against you run for cover with SL, ending up with 50/50 or worse hit ratios and barely any profit after a year of trading.
Good luck to you but I'll stick with what works for me.

Dude, I don't know about your quote feed but my shows price movement all the time
What was yesterday is different what is today, your calculations/guesses are worthless in this case

_________________________________________________________________________________________

>>>We will have to see within the next few days to see what the real Drawdown was on your current floating Position.. It's >>>gonna be interesting...

Again, I really don't care what you calculate.
Have fun if you have nothing else to do.
Hint: this time would be better spend learning how to trade.

______________________________________________________________________________________

Actually, I'm in the process of setting up an account under this PAMM with some change money that will show the balance but NO, I am still not going to show open trades. And I am not doing this specifically for you but just to be even more transparent.

Thank you for keeping an eye on my system

Unfortunately that is the world we have to live in, however just because something evil is possible it does not mean that everyone is doing it. In the end that action is what separates the scam from the true thing. In case you have not noticed I was probably the first here to point that PAMM issue out.
Yes It does not show my true gain but there is not many sites like this that have a better solution. And btw my true gain for last month is quite a bit higher then the 59% so I'm actually loosing here and not gaining, but 59% is still respectable so I don't complain too much.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________

>>>Each time a deposit comes Through, (whether his, an adjustment, or from an investor) the Balance shows a Positive >>>GAIN. hmmmm.. Very interesting...

The balance is adjusted but the %%% gain is only adjusted when a trade is made
PAMM adjustments are treated as simply deposits/withdrawals which resets the count after every adjustment which is what screws this whole thing up.
Even if they were treated as trades they are so tiny that they probably would not account for 1% gain over the course of the year.

___________________________________________________________________________________________________

Actually it went lower then 91% before coming back, blah blah blah
would you like me to start a journal for you so I can prove to you what I do every minute of the day?
I have said enough about that system in its discussion and I am not going to repeat myself.
If you don't believe me please stay away from me for your own safety.

Still waiting for your live trading account to see how much better that is then what I do.

Not Needed. I am a good trader. I have good accuracy. Do your best for your investors, and I will do my best for my investors.

You act like I am a beginner that can not make an consistent PIP... My business is named 'Pipinvestment' for a reason.

You can call it defamation if you want. But in order for you to win, you would have to display your balance :-0

now schaarrand whats your point, except for promoting your own managed accounts?
you think the way you act here makes you more trustworthy?

if you dont like the way he trades, just stay away from this discussion, i think you already made your position clear.
making a video about that is ridiculous. you should spend that time in any other way, any other way would be more productive.

the accounts i see from you are one demo account, and one real account in loss blaming the broker. 😄

you are definatelly not in the position to blame anyone who has a proven track record. anyway i think rob made it pretty clear, if you dont like the way he trades, no need to post here.
trading is passion
