i'm a ForexGrowthBot EA purchaser.Just received an Email from FGB team, "up-selling" another EA called PipGunner.To be honest, I'm upset and find this is annoying of how the FGB team done to the existing ForexGrowthBot EA customer/users.Reason why? If FGB team has development an improved/ revamped the EA, you should have update this EA to the ForexGrowthBot EA application, and delight the customers. Now, what FGB team did is abandoned the ForexGrowthBot EA development; and then aim to lure more incomes by promoting / up-selling new EA.e.g. FGB (under-performed) --> PipGunn...

not 24/7 letting MT4 running....i just re-opened the MT4 Monday night.So FGBot closed the rest of trades.*note, i used trailing strop EA, with 6pip starts trailing stop. e.g. whenever pips are earning towards the trade direction with 6 pips, it will lock down the profits [i added trailing pip decay, meaning in-time, it will reduce the desire profit lesser than default = 6 pips. The longer it goes, 5, or 4 pips profits will be locked. ]

whenever you "think" is enough at the time, take it. greedy is bad. emotional is worse/worst.these trades are open for short term gain purpose, no point to let them hung over [night], unless you knew what you are doing.The EA is works on MT15 time frame, so.....it explains. Would be very nice, if FGBot improves the closure algorithms. 😄

You [all] should have close the trades manually, especially during Friday session.take the profits trending, and move on. The impact is pretty hefty, in this particularly 5 trades opened still active...good luck to the real acc investors.

Hi fxgrowthbot,I noticed one problem (Perhaps I think it is). I set the ClosePreviousSessionOrder = 0 for each currency pair I opened. This monday morning when I started up MT4 [fxprimus], the FGB EA closed out all the floating sessions.I re-checked the chart's EA setting, confirmed they are all ClosePreviousSessionOrder = 0.(Luckily it was a DEMO account)2011.05.09 13:48:55 ForexGrowthBot USDCAD.,M15: close #5198769 buy 0.01 USDCAD. at 0.9676 at price 0.96132011.05.09 13:48:51 ForexGrowthBot CADJPY.,M15: close #5198773 sell 0.01 CADJPY. at 82.99 at price 83.91

only find a suspicious reason about selling EA at $5k for start up capital. you can find plenty of brokersssss offered low deposit to start up the trades. from logical view, to me it doesn't add up. and yet it looks too good to be true.

FGB > ClosePreviousSessionOrder.What is your prefer argument (0, 1, or 2)? I personally find it sometimes is risky, and I am not sure what is the purpose for (Computer / Internet outage?).ClosePreviousSessionOrders (All Versions)restarts.0 – Will not ask to close. (It means will not close?) 🙄1 – Asked to confirm then close.2 – Automatically close on restart. (It is default)
