No I'm blown. Dang I lost 5k. That's all the profit I ever made from funnel. I know better too. These types of systems will always get wrecked. My analysis was spot on. AUDJPY came right down to monthly support and bounced. Time to short it

Ok, just did some major analysis of this AUDJPY chart. NZDJPY should trade similar. Anyway, audjpy has fallen so far its hard to find a support zone on the daily. Last night I looked at the weekly and set my PT at .76 which turned out to be perfect. I posted a couple charts for you showing why I think the bias may switch to long very soon. Again, need to zoom all the way out to weekly but its strong support at 7600. On the hourly, you can see we closed this morning with a nice , perfect 38.2% pin bar right at support which is EXTREMELY bullish. If equities stay strong and the 7600 level...

Oh, i'm actively managing at this point. This DD sucks. Last night I threw on a full hedge and picked up a quick nickel this morning because it was clear the aussie and kiwi were getting killed the and the yen is strong. However, equities look to be headed back up, for now. Once the S&P 500 hits 2600, I'm going to look to exit all trades because I see a good short opportunity there. When this algo is short EURUSD and long all others, its basically long AUDJPY and short NZDJPY which are in heavy correlation with equities. So if the stock market crashes, I'm dead.My max lot...

Mine closed out too on the 20th but only for a $30 loss (less than 1%). The Aussie and Kiwi are making up for losses throughout the year. So far, the Aussie is the biggest loser at around 7% YTD compared to the $.

the big drop was my neglegence as I went on vacation and forgot to fund the account. I just took a withdrawal but took too much and had to fund it. When I changed brokers I was in drawdown and I just closed out all my trades.

yes I agree, 5k. Can't trade 3 lots with 3k on this system. Even 5 is kinda low. I have 4 ATM but I'll add more if I need it. Today AUDJPY could close extremely bearish so this will help to get out of the drawdown. Expect a losing trade because of the swap charges.

I switched brokers. IC doesn't like US citizens. Too bad because they are the best. I spent a lot of time creating my new system. I'm very confident with it and posting results on myfxbook soon. Also opened a new funnel account that is already posted

yes I would add more $ to be safe. Just keep in mind anything you add is also at risk but gives you a better chance of coming out of the trade. We are simply on the wrong side of the market. Watch equities markets for large moves up. If we have another strong run up in equities, I suspect the drawdown could worsen. However, when we get a risk off move, it should take us into profit.

I'm really tired of this broker not giving me an option to withdraw my funds. I recently took a withdrawal of 10k and quickly after realizing I withdrew a little too much so I deposited with a credit card 2k. I then closed out my trades and withdrew the 2k while also requested another withdrawal of close to 5k via wire. Two things. One is they give me a hard time about withdrawals. If you take more than 10k, they hold it until you email. Also, I recently deposit only 2k on a cc. I went to withdraw 6k and they said it all needs to go back to the cc. I said I only put 2k on my cc so I only have a 2k balance. They won't give me any other options. It really angers me because now I need to wait 60 days. Other reason is because they want me to sign a form saying I'm a qualified US citizen. I don't want to sign it because the USA is very strict about trading over seas and I don't want any iss...

You need to look at the rest of the numbers. 86% dd is incorrect just like 700+% is also incorrect. I made 4k with a 2k (average size) account. That is not 700%. Myfxbook calculations are not the best but it is the most common method used. It does not take into account the multiple deposits and withdrawals. Yeah man its great! I average about $250/mo. Just be careful with it because it is a grid system with no stop loss. You have to have thick skin when it goes into big drawdowns and a lot of $$ in margin. I keep 5k on hand for it. The only issue I see with it is if we every have a massive bear market like 2008, that will be bad for funnel. But with today's market, its awesome.

I thought the same thing a while back and I think I even told Lance about it. I even replicated it like this (I make my own systems too) but the problem is the drawdown is outweighed by the larger baskets. Yes, the other side would be taking profits but small in comparison. You would still need a substantial account size to run it. The one basket would also have a large drawdown.

100% my fault because I did not deposit funds but the reason I say it's bad calculating because I only lost about $500. Look at my total profit. I simply forgot to deposit money before I left for my vacation (holiday, whatever you want to call it :) and the broker stopped out my trades during a high drawdown period. It was an honest mistake. You can seey profit is almost $4000. How can $500 loss be a 100% loss? How is it possible to have a 400%+ gain? It's all bad calculating. Call it martingale, grid, doesn't matter. It really is brilliant. The past month was one of my all-time best. Just remember to keep more $ on hand because it will eventually go into a deep drawdown that seemingly never ends and will require up to 5k margin.. The market always retraces so I never worry bout it anymore. Are you using different settings or stock? I have only tried stock settings so far but I'm planning on bumping it. I know a guy who uses a 200+k account with this system so it is possible to have some serious coin invested with it.
