Yes you have to possess all necessary skills like psychology, math skills, coding, financial markets knowledge, etc. and this should be mixed in perfect way to achieve desired results

Psychology plays a significant role in trading, but of course, it’s not everything. You need quality trading signals with a good win rate or risk-to-reward ratio, and finding and verifying these can take a long time, sometimes years. The challenge is compounded by the fact that signals often stop working, meaning you must be prepared to constantly search for new ones.

I don’t think it’s possible to find a mentor in this field in the classic sense—someone who will teach you how to make a profit. If they know how to earn well, they could just increase leverage or add working capital themselves, given the vast market liquidity. As for the basics, including algorithmic strategy development, there are plenty of resources for that—YouTube videos, books, webinars like those from HFM, and forum discussions, where useful insights occasionally pop up. In general, knowledge is gathered piece by piece.

Why not? It should be fun I guess, however demo isn't so interesting since no psychology is involved, better to try micro accounts maybe

Yeah I would run it on demo for 3 months min, assess average drawdown in pips, duration of trades, R/R, ratio of winning and losing position, time that it takes to recover losses if there was any. Lots of things to check before deploying it on live account.

It will rally in any case but before it should drop a little bit to create more reasonable levels for entry. Long-term trend is up, the rest are simply pullbacks for better returns

I do often trade without stop loss and this is the biggest problem. But in such cases I forcefully reduce lot size because I know it can end badly, lol

Well if you make big gains in a short period of time then it elicits great emotions which turns you into addict. That's why it is advised to use as low leverage as possible to not create emotional rollercoaster

Have you checked beeksfx? Their servers are located in LD4 where most brokers place their servers. Some brokers like HFM offer this service for free if you meet turnover volume

Is it something like news straddle? It can be profitable if you account for volatility when you set the legs and it should be done with verified reputable brokers like Exness, HFM etc.

Why agree on those disadvantageous payouts (lose 100, gain 80) when there are much better places in terms of risk-reward.. take any regulated ECN broker like HFM, Exness.. lots of instruments and much more flexilbility in managing risk

Try to strike balance between paid job and trading. Hard to go full-time when you don't have experience. You always have to have a backup plan.

Better to move somewhere else to try arb, maybe Exness, Tickmill or HFM will produce better results but start with micro amounts to test slippage.
