Grayscale has filed a new prospectus post-meeting with the SEC, outlining its aim to transform the Bitcoin Trust into a spot Bitcoin ETF. The updated prospectus, submitted on November 22, hints at a potential change in GBTC’s ticker to BTC. However, Bloomberg's ETF expert James Seyffart clarified that the fund won't necessarily adopt the BTC ticker. if grayscale is updating it’s Bitcoin Trust prospectus then that means they’re actually staying transparent and compliant, which can boost investor confidence.
