Huh, I wonder why they created that crappy US server then=D Isn't their main server located in Finland somewhere? I wonder what VPS they recommend? If their main server is located in a sort of "exotic" location they must have a specific VPS that they recommend to their clients...

Ooh I just happen to have a Zulu account! I'll make sure to find a room for you in my portfolio=) If you can keep this up you're going to be on the very top of the performance list! It's also great that you're a manual trader. Most of the guys on there that are gaining like 10000 pips a month are just trading a collection of edgy scalpers that are bound to blow the account up eventually. The sad thing is that the newcomers are drawn in by that, the lure of extreme profits... If you've been trading for a while you know that something like what you're doing is 10000 times...

Are you guys trying the FinFx real ECN account not the micro or mini? I've heard there's a huge difference between the two(or three=D).The results on that account you shared are fantastic. Probably the best I've seen for MDP! Probably due to IBFX's almost obsessive emphasis on execution=D I wonder what the performance would be like with Oanda and MB Trading? Two very much HONEST brokers...

Well I guess that IF you only use your hacked copy of the EA you payed for for personal purposes theoretically it wouldn't do any harm. BUT when you have hacked an EA, you now have access to all of the code behind it and thus the "trading formula" in it's entirety. And that might be the developer's personal secret that he does not want to let out as he might be making his living from it. And when someone does that, even though it's only for "personal use", the chances are that it will be shared with others eventually. Of course every individual is different ...

Erica, it's definately possible to "hack" pretty much all of the commercial EA's. Despite the common wisdom that it's close to impossible (or would at least take weeks or months to do) a truly good programmer can do it with relative ease. But that's not saying it's ethical or that it's easy to find a top-notch programmer to do it... But it's very much possible=) Judd

Actually Erica(assuming that's your name=), I believe MyFXBook recently made some changes to how those Gain% are calcuated. Now the "main-gain"% is the TWR, which is the most accurate and correct way to judge how much you've earned, so to speak. That means that it's all your percentage gains combined, at any given time, so that the balance at the time of the win/loss isn't reflected in the total Gain%. The Abs.Gain% however is how much your deposit/s has grown, so that number tends to get screwed up when you make a lot of deposit/withdrawals. Of course nothing is real...

Hi again MissPipsKiller, well for starters it would seem that it's not possible to trade MDP on this broker, as their stop level is 4 pips and MDP requires a stop level below 2 pips to the best of my knowledge. I know of a broker that used to have a stop level of 0 (like all TRUE ECN brokers should by the way) and a lot of people were having good results trading MDP with them until they changed their stop level to 2 and then the performance of MDP totally crashed. So, it seems like the only thing for you to do is to go find another broker. I know that sucks, but it would seem like that&#...

Hi MissPipsKiller, what broker are you using? If it is FXOpen their MetaTrader ECN app has to be installed and running along the MetaTrader platform. And if it is that might have something to do with your account (actually you MetaTrader platform) acting strange on your VPS. That again depends on what kind of a VPS you are using. Also, I know this may seem like silly advise, but make sure(double check) that you are logged in to your new real money account and not your old demo account=) Did any of this help?

Ever heard of fantasy football? Well this is fantasy Forex trading at its best. On the MDP website the author even claims that this is his real money account. I wonder why? Not saying it can't work but, just a penny for your thoughts...
