Irishmist is right. I lost 35% last night after a decent two months. But this Ea continually buys weak currencies and sells strong currencies. It's complete opposite of what should be done. It throws good money after bad. It doubles down on losing trades. That's a great way to blow an account. I will not be using it again.

You cannot backtest this EA as it is a signal provider from the master account. If Doug is listening we would all love to see a 5 year and 10 year backtest. Like you did for scalp trader pro. Thanks

Is there a way to adjust how many times it will double lot sizes. Like choose 7 instead of 9 times? Is there a way to choose a lot multiplier like 1.6 instead of 2?

Yea seems like the trend changed from uptrend to downtrend on the hour chart and the software thought it was just a pullback. However, the euro had been the strongest currency since Friday and the dollar was 4th. As far as relative strength. So I was surprised it got stopped out.

WilsonI read that article. And at the bottom you will see an ad for the authors course in how to trade forex. I guess everyone is trying to sell something. Of course he wants you to believe auto trading systems are no good so he can better sell his course. Since following and using Dougs EAs I get exactly the same trades as his accounts. I don't believe they are faked. And I don't beleive I should rely on them solely. I have been manually trading the last three months and hope to begin trading with a proprietary firm next month. Streak I use on many machines just one license per metatrader account. So as many machines as you want if you buy only one license it will only work on the metatrader account you activate it on. You can change and activate it on another account but then only that account will work that is activated

Having great results this week. But I have been doing some things different. I no longer make instant market executions. Trust the system. It's been down -180 pips before and come back to be a winning trade. Your risk shouldn't be too much that you need to manually close trades. if your palms are sweating and you are losing sleep over it. Your risk is too high. Most professional traders don't risk over 5% in any single trade. Makes it easier to set it and forget it and let the market play out as it will.

PabloTotally agreed. I think you can achieve the same win rate as the vendor. But as far as growing your account as fast you would have to be risking everything on a few trades. The system is good. But using this system you have to be very disciplined. A lot of new traders are not. You will get a lot of trade alerts. About 2-3 a day. So you have to keep your risk per trade very low to avoid margin calls. That's where I made my rookie mistakes. You have to have very good money management skills for this system. And patience. Overall I think it's a good system. I think I had some bad luck between big pivot trader drawdowns and channel and vortex losses so I ran out of margin and had a few swing trader trades close due to no available margin. My fault for risking too much across using 4 systems and too many trades open at once. So overall the system is good. But you also have to be a good trader. I'm making some rookie mistakes.

Actually the trades may have been winners. They didn't hit stoploss. I had a margin call. We will see. My fault partly for risking too much. Can't try to be an overnight millionaire

Ill let you know end of this week. These trades average 4-5 days. I currently have 4 open trades. 114 pip drawdown at the highest and has been as high as 160 pips. Still love the system. I would like to see Doug make some training videos for using the swing trader pro software. The manual is good but just doesn't quite explain everything. Like maybe how long you should wait before trading pairs that experienced a news event or a huge 150-200 pip move recently. Im definitely learning much more and much faster manually trading so that's good. It has great potential.

swing did not catch that move. That was most likely a news event and it affected a lot of pairs. The swing trader strategy is basically when the price reaches 2 standard deviations away from the average you will enter a trade and take profit when price goes back to the average. So it's definitely not a trade with the current short term trend strategy. You are kinda trading against it. I have 6 open trades right now. And I think I entered them too close to this news event. I should have waited another day. They are all drawdown about 70 pips currently. But I think it will catch the market...

Is pivot trading a news event on the eurusd right now? Can't the software filter these out ? I mean I'm sure the market will correct itself and we will probably make profit but still.
