I think it is a good idea not just to have a mentor as such, however to have an experienced trader who you can discuss strategies with and bounce ideas off. Mentor seems hierarchical and in theory could also be a peer. Yeah, am finding time is the essence. Plus I really do not trust the "market" data they use and have been comparing against MT4 market data. Am sure that if you had a huge binary position about to close that the binary market would go against you whilst the forex swap would go the other way!!So far for me it is two steps forward and one step backwards.

Be careful with silver, there is actually a lot less liquidity than in forex.What I found was that when trading silver my forex systems worked, however needed to extend the timeframe from hourly to H4 and Daily.Also don't believe what you see on those forums such as Silver Doctors, it is all hype crap and they have been talking about silver to $250 an oz for years.Whilst I hold silver bullion, I will not trade spot again as it is too easy to lose your hard-earned profits.cheers, Cameron

How did the gold traders out there fare with the interest rate rise?I was in a short silver trade 8 or so hours before and closed at profit before the price came back up - phew.Then this morning after the decision and the hammering down I got a long gold trade in and just closed.It was an obvious over-reaction and am sure some traders out there would have made a heck of a lot from that trade.In a way I regret not trading it, however it was 3am in the morning my time (Perth, Western Australia).

I was going to wait for the announcement however saw a little long trade come up, so bought at 1155 and sold at 1160 a couple of hours later.Am not expecting major movement on gold on interest rate decision.Check out the igold advisor post from last week on youtube. He shows that increase in interest rates does not push gold down over time.

The gold chart looks the most bearish I have ever seen in. I feel for those seeing the YouTube videos of people like Robert Kiyosaki and Jim Rickards talking $5000 or $10000 oz gold and then jumping in now with long trades - I have done exactly that in the past and learnt that lesson painfully.
