Well, I don't see much difference in one charging for a book they wrote or charging for educational videos and/or training they designed. I have definitely found some shady "teachers" in this industry, but I have also seen some really good ones.Teaching is a obvious route for those who are capable of teaching. Trading is hard work, takes time and effort, whereas teaching someone your 20+ years of experience, can be a bit less time consuming and extremely rewarding, assuming there is at least a thousand students or so.As long as the teacher is transparent enough, doesn't claim...

I have already read Market Wizards and Trading in the Zone, which I loved both of those books very much. Can anyone suggest anything else?Also, what kind of premium paid education have you had experience with, and what was your experience with it? Looking to take some classes and education

Don't let the silly avatar scare you, I am actually a very serious human being, just not all the time LOL!I have been paper trading for four months now, did a little live trading until I met some crazy bat shit crazy voices in my head and lost 55% , so back to the drawing board.I am curious if anyone knows of a free chat room or some sort of resource that would allow me to meet more like minded, noob traders like myself. I like to hear others ideas and give my insight with the hopes of hearing or finding something new - fresh perspectives.

nobody can help you ..... very very true. People and acquaintances are great, different ideas and conversations are even better, but at the end of the day, YOU are your OWN worst enemy and only YOU can save yourself.I knew the moment I started doing this that I was going to learn a whole lot more about myself than I have learned about anything. It isn't easy, but nothing ever is, and you just have to figure it out or move on.Great Post

If you okay with a noob being in your room - I will keep quiet and preface my q's with "noob question" if needed lolIn my research, the need to hear other perspectives seems to be a constant.I am from Oregon, and yeah, trade morning and night. I am a chef at a nice restaurant, I work when the new york ends and get off work when london opens. Gives me plenty of time to setup,research, and trade.I have had some huge swings and am learning how to get a hold of my self and go nutz..... which I am already
