To Old Chart Reader, Ty for the heads up on Scriptlance for building a custom built EA. It would make a great addition to my MDP.

I actually have a request for quotes there right now to create a new custom indicator that would dovetail with MDP trading. I usually get about 5 to 10 bids and select the one that is reasonable and the programmer has lots of EA experience and excellent references. Please remember, an indicator or EA that is reasonably simple can be coded by a good programmer in a maximum of one to two hours. The follow up and debugging takes longer. These guys actually already know the standard stuff and can add it with a few key strokes. For example, a trailing s/l or auto gmt offset would be something common for them to do and since they have done it a million times it is easy for them.

Anyway, this is off topic for this thread so I am going make this my last post on this subject.

   * opening a paypal account to support the sales transaction required few minutes
* marketing???? is there any pub on TV? no, just post some results on myfxbook, publish messages in forums, and emails to the majors EA's related sites, cost? nothing, only few hours
* creating the same site founded using the same template available for near all the EA on the market? well... nothing again.
* support? 1 guy is enough

so finally, this costs 250$ maybe few more $ to host the site...
and there is a lot of free resources available on the net to host sites, manage a customer list etc...

Okay one guy. Now....any thought of him doing work for free....be serious. He is going to be giving himself a paycheck. If you are considering the paycheck the MDP sales, then his 'wages' would be exceedingly high.....but.....let's figure approximate minimum wage/week of $200. It has been available to the public for over 20 weeks, but let's make it only 20 weeks and ignore any previous work done. And let's ignore any of those trivial expenses like marketing, etc. We have a total cost of.....$4000!!!! So.....again.......thousands.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

What I have to recognize, is the effort in the bot to display some information.
The performance stats of the broker, the ECN conditions, the real time update of some channel data (even if we don't know what these numbers mean or are to read them), control of the errors etc...
this is clear that William takes some time to do good job with this EA.

I'm not sure how to count the pips when there are 3 or more trades each with different sizes........ In other words if one trade is for 10 pips on .1 lots and the other is for 1.0 lots for 1 pips do we count that as 11 pips? The profit is the same for both.

In answer to your question I made about 5% on the 3 trades.

BTW it would be helpful if you would publicly post your results.

We count pips, not their value. You just count your order open price - your order close price = that´s your profit in pips. The lot size doesn´t matter when providing the results in pips.

no, don't count the lot size in the pips. the pips is the number of points you win (delta between open and close) no matter the lot size.
the lot size impacts the money you win.
so 1 lot means 10$ when 0.1 = 1$...

from a money point of view you can be positive even when you have a negative number of pips.

Hi,

Has anybody have an idea about the vendor that he stopped to publish the last trades? Or he will share the results with the new subscription system?

Pepperstone wrote a code for MDP. And they make the MDP slower. And loose came. Normally when you make a ex-test with pepperstone the results are very good. But when MDP try to open orders, they slow down the orders. I withdraw from that fraud broker.

Guys, I've got a question. I keep 2 accounts on 1 VPS. Do you think it can cause problems/delays ? Should I keep one account there only ?

Indeed this is unexpected. Spike within Asian session is very rare (I think).
