I think it's about time we had a thread dedicated to simply maintain a list of all of the above. In the past year and a half alone, we have seen multiple dozens of blown accounts, deleted systems and deleted users. Unfortunately there's always naive investors who fall for the hyped up results and the purposeful misrepresentation of inherent risks involved which are posted by these unscrupulous individuals.

We have seen so many big talkers with commercial interests come and go.

This thread, as it builds up, will hopefully help reduce losses suffered by naive investors as a result of accounts that are blown by such unscrupulous commercial product/service providers.

If you come across commercial systems that are no longer being updated, go ahead and assume that they have been blown and post the links here. If a system suddenly goes private whilst having floating trades, it is safe to assume that it has been blown and go ahead and post those links as well.

Here's just 2 deleted systems to begin with :

1. https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Italy59/italy1959/76172/f2lbexaZGtJDVBU6Adyr - PAMM Trader

2. https://www.myfxbook.com/members/PAMMtrader/ea-hedging-scalper-m5h4-wwwforex/77312 - PAMM Trader

I'll post more as I compile my list.

That's correct. As long as the user's myfxbook account is not deleted, at least it will create awareness that the user concerned who offers a commercial product/service has deleted a system from his account. And 99.99% of the time, the reason they delete is because they've blown the account. They delete systems to hide their history of blowing up managed accounts or an EA that they were/are selling.

In the above instances, the user is still active. In other instances, they also delete their myfxbook accounts completely and re-emerge with a new myfxbook account/identity.

that isnt neccessilary true many of the managed accts were oanda users that are no longer able to use myfxbook due to a couple of reasons myfxbook no longer supports oandas fxtrade the only way to update through oanda is with mt4 and oanda wont add mt4 to existing or managed accts
You will never go broke by taking profits

Maybe.. but the accounts could have either just been made private or left alone without deleting them. At least it would have been obvious since we would have been able to see that the broker is Oanda and therefore would have understood the reason for no further updates on it.

As account managers the issue we are faced with is 2 fold.

If we delete badly performing accounts we are seen as scam, whereas if we show bad accounts people think our good accounts are unsafe.

I keep 2 accounts on myfxbook, my strategy testing account, and my managed account. Both use real money, I use the strategy testing account to develop future trading systems. The strategy testing account has ups and down, whereas the managed account has a smooth equity curve.

test account:

live managed account:

My account is very conservative and profitable however I've had little interest, I can only presume it's because I'm sharing my test account. I will not hide my test account out of principle, people should get to see the whole picture. I want people to be aware of how the stratgies were developed and what strategies are used on my managed accounts.

Maybe there's little interest in your managed account because it's a grid strategy..maybe indo-run.
